I replaced my friends thermal paste last night,

We'd never done that before, we were on call with our other friends who have built pcs

1 the people who built his pc never put on thermal paste (WTF)

2 the back plate that held up the cpu cooler didn't have the brackets it needed so when we took the cpu cooler off that fell

So we're mid call, having to hold the bracket up until the cpu cooler could hold itself and then lay it down and do the rest

And the power goes out, so without help we have to finish it by flashlight and can't see if we fucked up until the power was back on

Thankfully we did it!

And his pc now idles at a normal temperature!
