Div as a character is so interesting.. the series as a whole tbh..

he goes to the admins for help, they talk about the content. the one who “caught” him x-raying was happy because it would make a good video for his channel. they are so content-focused, they turn their backs on the needs of the server to face their cameras instead.

everything is for the content—the people who have hated him this whole time were willing to forgive him if he just turned off the camera, but what happened? the camera (or his editor) shook its head. he would rather the whole server hate him than lose one second of content. and when he goes to sit by himself, the first thing he worries about is: “will this even make a good video?”

and it will. he seems like the underdog. the only reason we know that div is toxic, the only concrete proof, is the video that DIV thought was going to be cut. he thought it wouldn’t be going in the video; if it didn’t, it really would seem like everyone hates him solely because of a few passed around rumors. we would root for him more. if i remember correctly that clip was uploaded by Q himself.? based on the fact that clearly Div’s editor is shown to not even let Div break down his walls if it means they would lack content, or potray him in a negative light.

and then orion walks up. the streamer with 2000 viewers, assuming from those numbers that he’s one of the biggest creators in the server, at least lore wise. and Div tells him to turn the camera off. because his editor can’t manipulate orion’s perspective to fit their narrative. live-streaming gets the most raw lore, as you can see anything that is set to be cut. and that’s when Div finally asks for him to not be recorded; when the narrative can’t be warped.
