Not a goodbye...

...but close enough.

Lots of things have happened since my inactivity. One of those is: I have a new computer now, and have not yet installed TS3 on it. I kinda wanna go for TS4 instead, as it has more expansions (and mods!) now, but, well, currently too busy with Life. And, er, non-Sims gaming. Assassin's Creed, mostly.

So yeah. This blog is officially on hiatus and will not be publishing new content, mod or otherwise, for the forseeable future. I've had great fun with TS3, but this, for now, is adieu.

Sweet Intoxication Musical Posters

Yo, what time is it? It’s showtime!

Seven musical theatre posters (although technically the Les Mis one is of its film adaptation, since I’ve made its original theatre version before--see Hipster Viking! Add-on Posters in my s3cc tag), gleaned with a heart full of love from a few of my favourite things. In order, we have Les Miserables, Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, Wicked, and The Sound of Music.

Both Sims3Packs and Package formats in one .zip file.

If you find any bugs, issues, &c, please contact me. I have nothing but unadulterated loathing for bugs.

Also present but not photographed (due to lack of child poses) is their daughter, Kate. The Bartons have actually been made some time ago, but I delayed actually putting them in-game until I had prepared a home for them to live in. They’re actually next-door neighbours to Ed Kenway and Mary Read, now.

Heya! Those s3 Edward tattoos are hella cool. Do you think there's a chance you'd make them for the sims 4 too?

Hello, Anon! Thanks for the compliment, but unfortunately, I don’t play TS4, and therefore have no idea how to make/convert the tattoos for it. Sorry, mate.

But if someone will kindly chime in and convert it for TS4, this is your cue. If the original image files are required, just pop by, and I’ll whoosh it over.

Edward Kenway’s Tattoos

Exactly what it says up there. Edward Kenway’s tattoos from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, lovingly turned TS3-compatible.

All of his tattoos on his torso and both arms, front and back, converted into one accessory; socks, to be precise. As a result, they’ll all appear as a set as opposed to individual tattoos, because that would require some serious hassle trying to put everything in their proper place. The images were taken directly from AC:BF game files, and so their accuracy is guaranteed, even if the placement and sizes may be very slightly off sometimes.

Both Sims3Packs and Package formats in one .zip file.

Progress update in my journey to slowly recreate my fandom sims to where they left off before The Great Computer Crash.

Tony has built Ultron all over again, and has also gone rollerblading with Pepper (she’s better at it than he is; just after I took the picture, though, they both flailed and went down with an inglorious thump).

Meanwhile, Anya and Loki are chilling in Starbucks. And yes, he’s wearing sunglasses. It’s so early, the sun wasn’t even truly up yet, but he just had to wear sunglasses.

I'm really liking this whole make-sims-make-sets-and-photoshoot thing. So here, six solo shots of the Assassin's Creed sims.

I have finally managed to make Late Night and Seasons work properly again! So I did a clean reinstall of everything (having already lost the fandom sims save data anyway), and, er, instead of going straight to remaking the Marvel and Les Mis sims, this was what I did. Left to right, top to bottom: Mary Read, Edward Kenway, Haytham Kenway, Kaniehtí:io (whose name had to be put as Kaniehtiio Kenway to fit the game's requirements), Aveline de Grandpré, and Ratonhnhaké:ton (sim named Connor Kenway). Will the old fandom sims be back? Assuredly. But expect a few new cast members along the way...

When I started playing, this… was the last fandom sim I expected to end up making. But I built a house inspired by his house, and it just seemed logical for him to live in it. Ergo: meet Harrison Wells.

In rebuilding my missing cc, it has taken me this long to realise that my treasure chest has somehow lost its Haytham Kenway set, as made/converted by CapitalSims. However, it seems that CapitalSims’ blog now is invitation-only, and their Tumblr seems to have been abandoned as well.

Will a kind soul please arrange for an introduction or avenue from which I can request an invite?

More of my building fever cc-testing adventures in Lucky Palms. And nope, this time, there’s no fandom sim to randomly own the house. Maybe someday I’ll show my test sims, but in the meanwhile, I’m just happy to be building and decorating again.
