And I come with a revamped design for my crittersona, Teena, along with a fully realized backstory! 🎀
Teena is a small pink critter (same size as Glep) who works with the Smiling Friends. She's energetic and loves to run and zoom around.
Teena was born in Spamtopia and moved to Meep, Pennslyvania for a more interesting (less overstimulating) lifestyle…is the story that she tells to others. In reality, she was King Oscar's former jester but was set for execution due to a joke being taken too far. In an extremely rare act of mercy, Oscar allowed Teena to live but exiled her. Forced to change her form and adapt to the strange city, she found Smiling Friends Inc. and applied for a job there.
Now, her job is to help others smile by making them laugh, whether by putting on comedy acts or helping the client look at their problems from a lighthearted, humorous angle. She carries around a small blue notebook and loves to sketch objects, people, and even jots down any important notes and reminders.
She is friends with Glep and Pim and has a rivalry with Allan. She is especially close with Charlie and has recently dyed a strand of her hair yellow in honor of him!

Chapter 2 - Freaking Out
“Why does this happen-WHY do we always find ourselves caught up in shit?! If we aren’t solving a murder, we’re captured by a witch! If we aren’t captured by a witch, we have to slay a demon! If we aren’t slaying a demon, we’re stuck in a different country with no place to stay because SOMEONE forgot to book a hotel!”
Charlie shot an angry glare at Pim, who was staring at his best friend in fear, frozen in place as he continued to listen to his friend's rant.
“And if we aren’t dealing with violent, insane, incompetent clients during work, WE’RE STUCK ON AN ISLAND WITH NO WAY OF GETTING OUT!” “Charlie…please.” Pim, despite his shaking, took a few steps forward as an attempt to reach out.
“Charlie, screaming at the top of your lungs isn’t going to get us off of here.” Allan spoke sternly.
“YOU THINK I DON’T KNOW THAT?!” Charlie walked closer to Allan until their faces were inches away from each other. Charlie breathed heavily as he looked at Allan with eyes filled with rage, his fists balled up and appearing as if they were ready to punch. Pim trembled as he looked at the two taller critters who were having a stare off, not knowing what was about to happen next. He hoped for the best and yet feared for the worse.

Chapter 4 - Running Off
“Allan!” Pim shouted and finally caught up to an exhausted Allan. “Allan, are you okay? What happened?” He asked with concern. “What do you think happened-uh?” Allan glared as he dusted off the dirt that might’ve gotten attached to his shirt. “That creature stole my sandwich.” He pointed to the small mammal sitting on the large tree branch gleefully nibbling away at the stolen sandwich.
Pim took a couple steps forward and squinted his eyes to make sure that he was able to look clearly at the mysterious tiny creature. Glep moved from Pim’s shoulder to the top of his head as he too began to observe what he was seeing. It appeared to be the size of a puppy and it had fuzzy cream colored fur with dark violet stripes on its whole body, including its face and short fluffy tail. It had ears the same color as its stripes and a small snout that had a black button nose. The most noticeable feature was its singular giant eye with clear white sclera and a black pupil.

Chapter 6 - Share and Care
There was Pim, alive (thank the lord), sitting down on the sandy floor and laughing while the macaw nuzzled his small feathered head against his round pink cheek. Pim started to scratch the back of the cerulean bird’s head and the creature cooed with happiness. The rest of the flock curiously walked away from Glep and fluttered up to the kind laughing critter.
“Awww! Look at you! Aren’t you just the cutest?” Pim fondly purred. “Do you all want some scratches too?” He asked the rest of the small group and they all responded by quickly nodding their heads. “Well come here then!”

Chapter 8 - Rescue
Pim peeked out from a large green bush that he and Charlie were able to hide behind while the medium-sized golf balls were left to count. The attentive critter rubbed his head while his eyes darted in different directions for any signs of the strange blue aliens.
“You sure they’re not gonna find us, Pimky?” Charlie questioned.
“Super duper mega *hic* sure!” Pim replied confidently and loudly.
“Okay okay but shhh!” Charlie grabbed ahold of Pim’s waist and pulled his friend away from view. “Don’t be too loud! They’ll find us!” He said while putting his pointing finger up to his lips. “We gotta be…you know…shhhhhhhhhhh!”
Pim giggled. “Yeah yeah yeah, I know! Shhhhhhhhhhhh!”
“Shhhhhh!” Charlie repeated, chuckling impishly.
It looked like a fluffy cream colored creature, covered in purple stripes, with one singular giant eye in the middle of its face. Below the giant eye, was a small black button nose. Below the black nose, a mouth with two sharp fangs protruding out of it.
Charlie lazily lifted half of his body off the floor and stared in amazement at the tiny mammal.
The curious yellow critter rubbed his eyes, grabbed the odd looking mammal by the waist and lifted it up to observe it even further.
“I found a funny looking puppy…”
Charlie squinted his eyes, blinked a couple times, and continued to stare with his mouth hanging open.
“I’m gonna name him Biscuit!”
“You mean so much to me, Charlie. And you mean a lot to everyone else who knows you as well. It doesn’t matter if you’ve made one mistake, or nine, or sixty two, heck, it doesn’t even matter if you’ve made millions of mistakes. That doesn’t make you any less special or important.”
“You really mean it?” Charlie asked with a hint of glimmer remaining in his wide eyes.
“Every single word.” Pim replied. “Now, whaddya say we get a move on? Once we cure Allan, we’ll find a way off of this island together.” He reached a hand out for Charlie to grab.

Chapter 10 - Mend and Protect
Charlie lifted himself off the monster’s battered, bloody body and stared down at her with a cold, wide-eyed stare. The cub walked close to Charlie and stared at the paralyzed creature in the same manner.
“Hey. You, um, you need me to carry you?” Charlie gently asked while playing with his thumbs. “Not gonna lie, you look pretty messed up.”
Pim looked at himself and realized what Charlie meant. “I guess I am a bit.” He replied with a soft chuckle.
“It’s completely up to you, though. You-you don’t have to say yes.”
“Actually,” Pim clasped his hands together nervously. “I wouldn’t mind being carried.”
“Really? You serious?” Charlie’s cheeks suddenly began to feel warm while the insides of his stomach fluttered.
Pim nodded. “Yep, yep. My legs hurt. A lot. It would be nice to give them a real rest.”
“Say no more.” Charlie grinned and lifted his small friend off the floor. “Do you, uh, do you wanna ride on my back or you wanna be in my arms?” Charlie hoped that the question he asked with his own mouth didn’t come across as creepy or cringe.
“A back ride sounds nice.” Pim chuckled shyly.
“Alrighty.” Charlie moved Pim up to his back while the small critter clung onto his friend’s shoulders tightly like a cozy koala. “Ready to go?”
“Mhm.” Pim nodded and nestled his head deeply into Charlie’s left shoulder. "I'm ready."
“Is everything okay back there?” Charlie called out to the macaw flock. Prince and Ramona squawked, confirming that they were both okay. Prince carried a bruised Peck with his talons while Ramona carried Pillow with her own. The two birds flew ahead of the trio, leading Beemo to begin sniffing and walking down the path.
Charlie followed suit while Pim remained comfortable and safe on his back, despite the purple blood stains that were splattered on his white, wrinkled shirt and scarred yellow skin.
Touched by the comforting rejoicing of his friends, Allan steadily placed his hands over Pim and Charlie’s backs, pulling the two critters in closer. Closing his eyes, he embraced the feeling of security and euphoria, his smile growing wider.
Things weren’t perfect. Allan still couldn’t move his legs, his fur was a mess, Charlie and Pim had their own bruises and scars, Glep looked exhausted, and he had spent the entire evening wrapped up in a towel, battling a venom-induced fever while struggling to sleep.
Things didn’t have to be perfect, though.
What mattered was that everyone was safe and that they were all together in a quiet moment of unity.
To Allan Red, that was enough.
“Thanks. All of you.”
“Don’t mention it, dude.” Charlie happily replied.
“We love you, Allan! So, so much!” Pim added affectionately. “And we are all glad that you are feeling better now!”
“Yuh!” Glep nodded.
“Now you can focus on sleeping properly and recovering.” Pim spoke as he pulled away from Allan. Charlie and Glep followed suit.

Hello there!
To answer your question, I have TWO Yolo Ocs! ✌️
First one is Marina! She was originally created as a Smiling Friends oc but then became a Yolo oc later down the line. She’s an inhabitant from Planet Bali who loves to swim in the ocean, collect crystals, and play board games. 🐟
And then we have Moonstone Peleeken who is my Peleeken-sona! She’s the nocturnal baby cousin of the Peleeken family and is usually seen sleeping in random places during the day, unlike her older cousins who are very chaotic and energetic characters. Whenever she’s awake, she’s seen as shy and rarely talks to anyone unless she’s close to them (such as her cousins). She uses her cape as a blanket, enjoys tea and meditation, and her favorite activities (besides sleeping of course) is stargazing! 💫
They’re both my precious blue darlings whom I adore very much 😌💙
I care a lot for Charlie!! He and my Crittersona, Teena, have a really strong friendship!
Gonna go on a little ramble!:
Teena and Charlie are co-workers at Smiling Friends and while they weren’t sure of one another at first, they learn how much they had in common and start to form a friendship based on shared interests and experiences (such as favorite food and music). Teena is really hyperactive and loves to yap about anything that comes to her head while Charlie is there to listen to what she has to say but also helps in bringing her down to earth when she gets too excited. He’s also the only one who lets her sit and take small naps on his shoulder.
I bring you my short Hungry Smilers animatic that I had in development since October 2024! After so many setbacks and breaks I’m so happy to finally have this finished and out in the open!! All content warnings are in the beginning of animatic and the tags of this post.

First off, Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! Second off, I apologize for the lack of art and a massive sorry to those who left me requests in my inbox. Life has been kicking me in the butt lately and that has put me in a rough spot. I hope to be back to posting in January but I’m not super duper certain.
