Do you mind? Not at all.
I’m ashamed. (Also what do they hope to accomplish by giving fines to people who have no money in the first place, how stupid are they.)
When the people begging for money on the street pulls up an iPhone, I no longer feel very sorry for them. And also, if they had the money to get to Norway, they aren't really that poor.
We also have those who are a part of organized begging, who have to give their money to a super rich barone who lives in a huge villa in their home country. Why support those people sending others to Norway to beg, just to take their earnings away from them?
The more equipment, the less you show the world that you can.
I get the concept of this, but things like boots, cruppers, breastplates and ears aren’t really “excessive” in any way.
I’m still trying to work out exactly what the horse has drawn on it and while I understand it’s a joke it does kind of cross the line into ridiculousness
I know it is not really excessive for all horses, but look at this. The horse is wearing knee pads. And a bit with two reins, and a hack, and breastplate and that tail-thingy. Is all of this needed in dressage? At least here in Norway we have some rules in dressage competitions, including that in the lower classes, none of this equipment is legal. Not even bandages. I have never ridden my horse with boots, breastplates and ears in dressage, and she is still alive ;) The breastplate is there to make the saddle stay, and not slide backwards. The tail-thingy is there to make it not slide forwards. If the saddle really fits, and the girth is fitted, then you really don't need any of it. And that thingy on it's ears, what is it good for?? Keeping the sound out? Does the sound scare the horse? Then it should have been trained on listening to those kinds of sounds at a younger age.
I really do not mean this as any critique, everyone is entitled to put the equipment they want on their horse, I'm just saying I've ridden all of my horses without any of it, and they are all still alive :) But I'm a dressage rider, maybe my horses would have died if I did show jumping or XC :S hahah, JK..
No matter how much I eat, there’s always room for dessert.
Dessert doesn’t go to the stomach.
Dessert goes to the heart.
Can’t wait for the snow to return! Let it be december again soon!
