tbh I was a little disappointed with the song & performance for Eurovision, so I get it. It didn’t really play to his strengths as much as it could have, and I can only imagine it having less appeal for people with no context for LMNC.

BAHLK magic system question: does casting any spell have its limits? Does wand control have to do anything with it?

Wand control has EVERYTHING to do with it. Imo, the spells are more about how you wave your wand, rather than what you say, since half the time, the fairies don't say anything when casting their spells

Agreed. I think that's the reason why Nanny Plum is so good at magic. She is obviously talented and practice a lot, but her hands must be dexterous because of her housekeeping and cooking.
