Loki | Infintiy War (spoilers)

so i saw the movie now twice and i couldn't stop thinking about loki's death scene... it raised one big question for me: why did thanos say "no resurrections this time" after he killed loki? i know most people think it was just to make loki's death seem more permanent, because he pretended to be dead before, but i thought a little about it and as i said loki just pretended to be dead, but (as much as we know) he never was really dead and got resurrected, or did he? we actually don't know what happend after thor 1 with loki, we know some details, but we don't know the whole story. loki clearly had a terrible time between thor and avengers (you can definitely tell that he looks very done in avengers), maybe he was tortured or even resurrected... it would definitely make some sort of sense, since loki is very powerfull and thanos knows that, so maybe he resurrected loki because he thought that he would be succsefull in avengers (i also kinda like the theory that he was mind-controlled in avengers, but i think he could also just be scared because thanos had threatend him with something). instead it just makes no sense for me why thanos said "resurrection" when he could just have said something like "really dead this time" (or something in this direction that sounds better)
