A WILD UPDATE APPEARS!
HELLO!
So I know I've kinda abandoned this blog, and you probably think I've given up hope on achieving this dream, but GUESS WHAT? I'M EVEN CLOSER.
Now instead of trying to move/plan/live in a strange city ALONE, I've actually had the sweetest person REACH OUT TO ME and offer to come!
THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS, SOMEONE WANTS TO LIVE WITH ME.
She's probably crazy, or a masochist, or BOTH, but I was so thrilled to hear her proposition and it's going to be necessary to have someone to be accountable these next few months, if I ever want to actually do this.

It's Time To Get COMMITTED! Please Help!
I've realized something, after 25 years of door slamming and pitfalls: If I'm going to "make it", in this business-- I'm going to have to make my own rules; And to make a long story short-- I've come up with a plan.
I want to start a production company, much like STARKID, VERSE FACTORY, and so many before them have done. [If you don't know those names, Google them.] Even on TV'S SMASH, a couple of misfits are now writing their own show in NYC, and people are eating their story up. It's inspiring; and we are all more than talented, smart, ambitious enough that, I think we may be able to do this. Over the course of the past year and a half, I have been encouraged, coached, motivated to even believe I can begin to do this And now, I'm sitting down to finally get this ball rolling.
I have actually started a screenplay, something I hold very dear to my heart and have been working hard on for the past month and a half. While this project is to help this company blossom, I realize I have to start small:
1st Step: GET FELICE LIVING IN CHICAGO:
Living alone/preferably a roommate, or 5. Establish a "life" in Chicago; friends, job, classes, etc.
2nd Step: GET FELICE A NAME IN CHICAGO!
Make connections, contacts, etc in Chicago. I am hopefully already doing this, thanks to the several amazingly talented and friendly and amazing human beings that I have reached out in the past few months. YES YOU!
3rd Step: GET FELICE'S SCRIPT/SHOW MADE!
This could be mixed in with steps 1/2, granted. But....you know I need people to do that, so....we'll work on it.
4th Step: GET COMPANY TOGETHER!
Again, could be mixed in. Could never happen. WHO KNOWS? Only time. Only time.
Is this idea crazy? Yes. Can we do it? YES. I am more than excited to begin this insane labor of love, this crazy mission of madness, this impossible dream.
