Another sketchbook post, this time a quick mock up of a design. It's going to go on a big bass drum, these are the first 4 panels with another 3 currently still getting figured out.
I apparently cannot resist putting my borbs on a design.

In tribute of the lovingly haunted album Myth by @narcissistcookbook I wanted to create a postcard that refuses to be lost.
It was just intended to be for me but at friends encouragment I gave it to Matt and the response made my weird heart so happy that it is appreciated and won't just spend it's life in my desk drawer.
Some pre-weathering photos too to show off detail that isn't present in the final copy. Wasn't sure if I was going to be strong enough to start wrecking it after making it look perfect but the weathering was my favourite part of the process.
Posting this under threat of violence from my loved ones, they won't rest until I start sharing my art so this is the only way to make the ransom.

TIL that after over a whole ass year since release that one of the songs on Myth has a whole extra 6 minutes I've never actually heard. I've slowly been buying my albums on bandcamp to try and get off streaming and finally getting to another beloved artist, getting excited to see what I'll get and...WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT DOESN'T JUST BREAK AFTER 3 MINUTES 30, THERE'S 5 MORE MINUTES OF STORYTIME??? I HAVE NEVER HEARD THE WHOLE OF THE GIRL WHO PAINTED DEATH???
Somehow this album finds ways to completely surprise me over a year later. I can't wait to get it on Friday and listen to the complete album for the first time. Until then I get to speculate what's contained in those extra five minutes. Unintentional treat of bonus content (derogatory at tidal, positive at album)
