Well since I don’t have an art tumblr I’ll like you to my drawing IG @/amoracantdraw

I did this angsty ColdFlash piece because I wanted to play around with shadows and it kinda worked? I think? Also very proud of the shading on Barry. Had never done that before!

I call this thing ‘I miss you’ and might write something to go along with it. Who knows!

“You know… Staying out here isn’t exactly helpful. If you want to check out the group you might wanna come in and say hi.” “Who says I’m even here for that?” Len stared down at the half-finished cigarette between his fingers and tried not to shake at the sudden realization that someone had noticed him. “Oh you know… You hang around every Tuesday night… Just sit there and smoke by your bike like a 1950s bad boy, watch everyone walk in and then leave… And since you’re still here I assume no one has a restraining order against you.” The kid offered him a gentle smile and looked down at the floor for a second, maybe waiting for a reply that never came.

“Adoptive father was… Manipulative. Controlling. It got to a point where it wasn’t… Right, I guess…” the kid took a second to get out of his thoughts before sitting down on the bench next to Len, “you?” “Dad always thought a little spanking was the way to go… He’d go a bit far though, have one too many drinks.” They sat there, in silence for what felt like hours but we’re really only seconds, the cold autumn winds blowing past them, making Barry’s hair move just slightly. “I really hope you come in next week, Len… I promise you won’t regret it. We also have an open bar of cookies.”

When a young artist in search of inspiration is out late at night, the world knows nothing good will come of it.

Barry Allen was always looking for that one new thrill for his neck piece, he wanted to experience new feelings and meet new people and live every life he could.

Leonard Snart was always searching for his next thrill, his next target and next hurt, his guns were to him what Barry’s brushes were to the young man. Leonard robbed, killed, hurt people and always found himself coming back for more.

Meeting each other in that alley was, in Leonard’s mind, one sick and twisted joke of fate... Why would fate hand him something so perfect to ruin? For Barry, Leonard was living and breathing inspiration from the cut on his eyebrow to the nuzzle of his gun.

“I’m a bad man, Barry.”

“We all are.”

Don and Dawn West-Allen

Don and Dawn always knew what they were: speedsters. They knew about what happened to their father, Barry Allen and knew why they couldn't be raised in his own time, why they had to go so far into the future with their mother.

Still, they were curious. Curious about what else they could do, curious about who their father was and curious about their own time. 

So when their mother disappeared without a trace they had only one choice: taking this fight back in time. Taking the identity of Don and Dawn Thawne to investigate where in the time line their only family was, they did not expect to come across anyone who knew them... Or well, someone who looked just like them.

“Barry? Nora? When in time are you two from...?” Cisco asked with his mouth hanging open, not believing what was right in front of him.

“Sorry, you got us confused with someone else,” Dawn forced a smile and grabbed her brother’s arm to get out of there before the situation turned into its own tsunami in time. But it was already too late.

“Who are you?” the man who could be Don’s doppleganger stood in their way, head slightly cocked to the side and a sad and curious look in his eyes.

The twins didn’t need to look at each other to know they were both thinking the same thing: ‘Oh shit. Dad.’

The DCU Bang is a fanfic and fanart challenge centred around DCU characters. Authors write either at least 5k for the Mini-Bang, or at least 10k for the Big Bang, and can choose to collaborate with an artist or work solo! Artists can choose to work with an author or do their own solo artwork for the Bang as well!

Barry Allen meets Leonard Snart online one night after he was hospitalized due to his heart condition. 

Leonard Snart meets Barry Allen online one night after finishing the last book on his ongoing series about a ninja fairy. 

They never really thought they’d meet but after a year in and out of the hospital Barry gets the news that he might be getting his new heart in less than two days and his first thought goes back to Captain Cold, his best friend who he never met and might never meet. When he comes clean about the situation Len doesn’t hesitate to jump on the first plane to go visit Barry.

“This is one big secret you managed to keep from me…” Len drawled trying to sound casual as he sat on the chair next to Barry’s hospital bed, trying not to let the other man see how much the whole bunch of tubes and needles bothered him.

“Says the world famous writer,” Barry rolled his eyes without losing his fond smile.

It just wasn’t fair to watch your daughter die before she was even conceived. It really wasn’t fair.
