Who was this mysterious young woman placed in the care of Sean Cassidy and Emma Frost? The answer will.... actually probably just hurt your head. Best just not to worry about it. Anyhoo! She's mysterious and pointy and she likes apples. Just, maybe don't ask about her back story. It's... upsetting. They call her Penance - "Penny" for short.
Oh did you think we were done? No way José! I just keep forgetting to post. But you know who I'll never forget? My boy Mondo that's who! Yeah he might have been done dirty by some truly insane retcons but c'mon who doesn't love this laid back dude!

Good ol' Jubes (along with Sean and Emma) helped tie these freaky teens back to the X-Men. Jubilee is a true 90s icon and rad to the max!
Continuing my Generation X revisit is one of my absolute faves! Everett Thomas, aka Synch! He can basically do anything you can do... but better - and yet, somehow, he's not a dick about it? Can't believe it took them this long to make him an X-Man. I mean, I know he was dead for a couple of years, but it's not like that's stopped them before!
Paige Gutherie, aka Husk! Presenting the try-hardest member of the Guthrie Clan, she's gonna be a full-on X-Man or tear something trying! What was it with this team and gross skin based powers? Whatever. We love ya anyway, hayseed!
Another great thing about "Gen-X" was the flat-out body horror of some of these powers! Sure, we've had the odd morlock running around, but now we've got some fully tragic and messed up body horror front and centre, baby! A boy whose chest and face were blown up because of his power! A girl who tears off her own flesh to reveal a new form beneath. And our resident badass, Angelo Espenosa aka: Skin! Sporting six (?) extra feet of.... well... skin. As powers go, it's no optic blast, but my dude made it work!

Generation X just hit all the right notes for me as a teen! I just had to try my style with these super-hormonal super-teens! Here's everyone's fave brooding Brit-rock (goth maybe?) bad boy: Jonothon Starsmore, aka, Chamber!
Another moment in this wonderful story from @worldsbeyondpod really hit me. When Suvi @quiddie tried to put hands on Ame and was made all too aware of the dangers in trying to control a Witch. This moment, just as much as what would follow, really felt like a massive turning point in their relationship and how they viewed each other.
I'm absolutely loving EVERYTHING about this show right now. Naturally I had to try my hand!
MY EMOTIONS!!!! You guys.... this scene.. this fucking scene. (I know, I know she actually had her glamour on in this scene but this is how I saw it in my head)
Ame and her Foxxy familiar! We've all got those friends you just can't take your eyes off... Oh, they SEEM innocent enough, but somehow chaos just seems to find them! That's how I feel about Ame and Fox as played immaculately by Erika Ishii and Brennan Lee Mulligan respectively!
Is he the strongest man in Silbry? Or something more? Here's Eursolon (Bear) he's hungry for honour... and maybe those little cucumber sandwiches. Played wonderfully by Lou Wilson!
