Part 1: The Human

After the Eridians sent out their space trip to Tau Ceti to find a way to save their star, they built more ships to explore in other directions, hoping to gather more data while they wait for their first crew to return

When their star was inevitably saved thanks to Rocky and their new alien friend, they used the Taulmebas to save as many stars as they could as far as they could. Grace's unique human knowledge helping pave the way to expanding their scientific knowledge to reach further beyond space

That's how they found the blood moon tree

Deeper in space, where most of the stars have died out, the Eridians found a moon swimming in an ocean of what they assumed was human blood. In the middle of said ocean sprouted a tree-like island, reaching out into space

They went to collect samples to conduct tests on when they returned, but in doing so, they found a body in the tree, asleep... alive

And looked human, like Grace

It was impossible. Improbable for an alien like Grace to inhabit a moon such as this. So, in a hastily made decision, the eridians on the ship took the body with them, creating a mini oxygenated dome for it to stay in, just hoping it would stay alive until they arrived back home

Grace and Rocky hadn't been ready when the body was rushed to them for help

dean gets creative with ways on how to track cas due to all his flighty tendencies. he cant track the phone because cas is liable to use it as a weapon in a fight (that one post that made the rounds, im not sure whose idea it is but yes) OR he forgets to charge it. ugh. dean made sure cas was on the family illegal plan bcuz making sure cas had enough money for calls and data for internet was like trying to wrangle cats

he also cant track his trucks bcuz cas is a reckless driver with a lead foot who doesnt watch his gas. and has stealing issues. cas will switch cars/trucks at the drop of a hat and it WILL make dean go gray prematurely. he cant keep driving to last known location only to find 1. a wreck or 2. abbandoned vehicle and learn hours later that cas was angelnaped by monster mook number 3 who either wanted to marry him or poison him. dean relates.

CLEARLY this leaves only one (1)☝️possible solution. no not an ankle bracelet.

dean has to sew an airtag into the lining of cas's trenchcoat.
