it is such a shame that jasmine won't live to the neon future, and that she doesn't really talk to dove, because i know in my heart she would talk with word art and sound effects via the correspondence. if she could talk ✶ 🎀 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 🎀 ✶ she would be unstoppable.
actually speaking of chiral + glasses. the WORST thing about chiral being unambiguously a full bat by the time the 21st century rolls around
is that it means this^ face will never get to wear heart-shaped glasses.
this is not a sight that london will ever see. and we all just have to live with this
Anachronism? In MY Fallen London? It’s more likely than you think!

a close second, perhaps
would you say 'Kill the Queen' by Stephen Jerzak is a Conjurer song :0?
wow i wonder what's got you listening to this one, it's almost like an animation was remade after 10 years-
the lyrics fit yeah. vibes don't strike me as a conjurer song, but i'll rotate it a bit more. ty <3
anyway here's the song that made me realize a lot of their outward personality and day job
hi everyone. consider a possibility with me

meows loud as fuck shattering all glass within 3 miles no survivors
dove's goals and desires are 'fake', as in she's some kind of shapeshifter carrying out what she thinks a dead woman would want, but are still 'real', in that she commits to everything 100%. this ranges from the actual liberation of night to spending the money one would spend on an elixir of immortality on woesels.
lea is so cartoonishly evil sometimes. the replica comes into the parlor soaked head-to-toe and goes hey could you please come look at my bedroom i think a pipe burst. and she's like why would i be able to fix that. and the replica goes because we're in parabola and you're a silverer. lea says well using my professional skills i would say that the water is symbolic of your guilt. you feel soooo guilty that you didn't apologise to someone about something. the replica says is this about me eating the last slice of cake you made. lea says maybe. could also be about someone else. the replica says i feel like it is. because you're the only person i know. because you leave me alone in this house for what feels like days while you go gallivanting around london. where there are ample amounts of cake and biscuits and other foods for you to have. whereas i am stuck here, and i can't go out and find anything else to eat, because the house won't let me out, the house that you control, because you are a silverer. but that's just a guess. lea agrees that it's just a guess. later she finds that this iteration of the replica mysteriously drowned in the bathtub, and she feels pity that the replica couldn't develop the interpersonal skills to overcome this problem. sad!
Dating an incomprehensibly large megastructure girl is interesting because she will send you pics of endless halls and chasms of impossible geometry on scales that threaten to break you fragile perception of reality in 2 taken from security cameras in miles above the ground and then respond with something like ">///////////////////////////////<"
Walk with me. Sequencer Atlas, caught in the early midgame.
He just managed to claw his way into some sort of reputation and get ahold of a ship. He’s disillusioned by the University kicking him out for telling the truth about a murderer. He’s struggling to make connections in the Court and always hurting somewhere from Feducci’s rings. He’s full of Nightmares and beginning to turn to laudanum and has still barely scratched the surface of how anything works.
Yet his zeal for knowledge and fascination with the Neath remain.
After setting out on the academic voyage, he gets distracted by a light in the distance. The Sun? No, impossible. Something is wrong. But it is brilliant and warm all the same, and his hands steer his ship towards it. He dismisses his crew’s concerns— he just wants to see.
What look like Admiralty ships let him through. While there are some suspicious stares, most of what look to be navymen beckon him in. He meets the Commodore, and isn’t kept away from observing what he learns is the Dawn Machine, and he feels okay for the first time in years, and at some point he belatedly realizes his crew stayed behind. They have never felt the warmth and light of the real Sun, he figures, so they do not share his yearning. If they did, they would recognize that while not a perfect substitute for what was lost, the Dawn Machine is far, far better than the gas-lit gloom and inescapable cold dark of London. And it is so easy to love. And he vaguely recalls telling them to depart without him, that they can do what they like with the ship. And he gets to feel okay for the rest of his life.
