He asked me out on a date tonight!
@YaelZefijo Here, I posted it! What do you think? I normally wouldn’t say yes right away, but Lord knows I need a practice date if nothing else. We have been talking all month, and his spelling does make me die inside every time I read it, but he’s also super sweet and seems like a nice guy. Do I say yes?

My dream: people were scared that babies would die out, so they forced people to breed, but then we had an overpopulation and The Hills Have Eyes came alive— with people shooting everyone’s eyes out & following me as I ran through a courtyard of people, who I’d just pitched a weird story to. The gist of it was: A woman who had to jump from body to body in order to stay alive, so her boyfriend got to hook up with a new “person” every time she did. I told you it was weird! Though, the empty eye sockets will be something I remember forever.
My best friend, Yael, would say, “Your subconscious is trying to tell you that you’re trying to become everyone to please one man.” Though, she may be right in her break-down, it doesn’t mean I have to like it. So, Yells Bells, if you’re reading this, I already know! Lol and I love you.
And as much as I hate to say it, I just realized that as I grew older, I already accepted that some people will not always be there for me every time I need them. That no matter how wide I opened my door, they would never come in. That no matter how loud I shouted their names, they wouldn’t turn around and face me. I already accepted the fact that they also have their own problems—to solve. That sometimes they need to save themselves first. It wasn’t being a bad friend nor a selfish one. But it was just us human beings wanting and searching for a mean to survive. And yes, I understand, even if it broke my heart not only once but too many times.

Whelp, never mind on that. Two of them turned out to be married, so I’m down to one last mystery guy. Though, he doesn’t have an actual photo of himself up. Should I be worried? Is love real?
I’m on the last leg of my novel journey and had a question for all of you: Do you believe in love? How do you know it’s right, and what feelings does your significant other arise in you? I’m trying to end this story and I can’t quite nail down the romance element. Maybe it’s because I’ve never been in love all the way, or been loved all the way (as Yael would say, I’m a “love virgin”), so I’m unsure of how to proceed.

Progress has been made
Whelp, I’m on chapter 13 of my new novel, after only two weeks of writing, and some of these characters have been battling their role in the story. I whipped them into shape, but I’m a little worried about their destination and how to get there. I take comfort in knowing all writers feel this way, so I hope you all do to. If you’re working on your own stories, know that this is normal and you’ll win out in the end. Wish me luck my Northlings! I love you all!

Hello! It’s been an incredible week and I’m super excited to announce that I’m working on a new book! Wish me luck traversing the intricacies of my mind as I dabble in a new genre. Maybe I should explain a bit here… I recently read The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield and fell in love with the idea of coincidences in life. I closed the book, after being sucked in immediately and reading the whole thing in a day, and replayed half of my life in my head. I realized that we’re all connected in some fashion and I wanted to share my insights with all you lovely people. I’m in the early stages of plotting, character backgrounds, and arcs, but I have a really good feeling about this story and I hope you all enjoy it when I’m done.
