Quick explanation on where I've been

Hi there!! ^^

I know it's been a while since I've posted and just been on tumblr in general and the reason is my mental health has had a bit of a downfall. I've relapsed in self harm after being clean for 2 years and my eating disorder has worsened. I've decided to take a break from any source/place of news and social media I was on. Post Xmas depression is something I've always had but this year it just struck a bit different.

However! I'm not trying to jinx myself but I think I'm getting back on the right track, I'll hopefully be seeing some doctors soon enough and getting the help I need :]

Im not yet returning to tumblr, I'm only briefly popping on to show off some art and to explain this!!

You may hear from me in upcoming months and I'll be checking my account on my laptop every so often, but for now, this is, again, a goodbye (but a more formal one) :3

What is the origin of your blog name?

Well when first signing up to tumblr I had I had no idea what I wanted to post or even really what the site was, so I came up with the fantastic @uhhwhatamidoing? ✨️

What is your 'I will always order this' food?

Hmm I don't really like ordering food from anywhere, I prefer home cooked meals but there is this awesome Chinese restaurant near where I live which I go to on new years and my birthday and I always order a chicken chow main but without the bean sprouts. It's so gud!!

What's your overused emoji?

What's your current comfort show/movie/book?

Show: The Owl House, forever and always my fav show, it got me out of a pretty dark place <3 Movie: Dead Poets Society (I live for my doomed gays) or anything from the AVATAR franchise by James Cameron. Book: The First to Die at the End (again, doomed gays) or The Perks of Being a Wallflower but I have so many others tbh

What's a thing you loved as a kid that you secretly love now?

It's not much of a secret, if at all but writing. I was like 6 when I wrote my first 'novel' (aka a 300 word story about a mermaid and her girlfriend. . .the closet was glass ok-)

What's your phone wallpaper right now?

My lockscreen is a doodle of my oc's for valentines day last year and my homescreen is a selfie of my and my sister when we dressed up in cow onesies!! I won't put it here as it has our faces in but I will do my old homescreen which is a photo of some stickers on a lamppost in London ^^

What's one oddly specific thing that brings you joy?

When I'm listening to my playlsit on shuffle and two or more songs I love come on in a row, and when I'm putting on a t-shirt, the way my arms look?? It's weird idk

Are you a morning person, night owl or something else entirely?

I'm 100% a night owl I'm always up way into the am's of the morning, but I also wake up super early (not that I like it) so maybe I'm something else entirely? An insomniac gremlin

Lastly, if you work, what is your work profession? And do you like it?

I don't work personally, although I might be soon, I've been offered an illustration job so that's fun!! And I'm one day hoping to get my novel out there so hopefully that'll become my profession at one point <3

Did you know that on new years eve I came out to my family as queer because even the tiniest bit of queer rep in a show I loved was there (will byers coming out scene). I'm out and will proudly say that I am gay, i will proudly say I am trans and I will proudly say I am genderfluid to anyone who asks.

It was never about byler. It was about us having the possibility to see ourselves on the big screen, and know we're not alone.

Even if you've never watched stranger things this message is still so important to hear about an understand .Whether you're queer or not, an ally or homophobic, I don't fucking care at this point, it just needs to be heard.

Duffer brothers. I'm here. I'm queer. And atleast one half of your viewers who watch the show and pay for your rent, groceries and life are.

I sorta have a theory on how Max and Holly may escape the memory time loop thingy

Basically, in s5 e1, Mike says to Holly:

'[She's a cleric, which means she has divine powers. She can cast spells of protection to ward against evil spirits, and even cooler,] she can cast a dimension door, which can teleport you to anywhere you visualise'

And this scene plays an important role, because rememeber a few months ago we got the image of the white door (the one we all thought was Mike's closet door lol) well in the trailer, who do we see walking though it? Max and Holly.

We already see Holly dressing up as her DnD character, so why wouldn't they go the whole way? I reckon somehow Holly is going to cast the door to appear by using her 'cleric powers' Maybe with the help of music maybe not?

My theory has many holes as it just came to mind 3 mins ago and I felt the need to rant on it-
