also not a fan of when a fic has jason view his red hood arc as a major mistake and regret that plagues him and that he needs to cleanse himself from. obviously it wasn't great, but it was a reflection of his morals and grief and ethics. the growing and healing aspect is awesome, i just dont like when it erases his beliefs. fundamentally jason believes in what he was doing as red hood. thats a part of him that he felt passionately about and acted on and, while he might regret some of his actions, i dont think hed ever regret the overall meaning behind it. jason has always held the same beliefs to some extent. they might shift and evolve over time as he gains new experiences, but erasing it completely by writing him as seeing the red hood as purely a mistake feels like a disservice to his character. he might leave it behind but i dont think hed ever see it as wholly negative

I did a post a while ago about what sports the bats do but I think they enjoy to watch very different sports (I’m using the British names, you will not catch me calling it soccer.)

Bruce likes to watch football, he supports the Gotham team and they’re really bad but he loves Gotham so he deals with it, also golf, since yknow, he’s rich

Dick is still a gymnastics guy, he can’t watch it live though because he keeps criticising the moves like a freak

Babs watched the football with Bruce sometimes but what she’s really impressed by is cheerleading, she knows from batgirl how hard that is to do and she adores watching it, she also likes to watch netball

Cass has her obviously and obligatory dance, she likes the body language we know this, but she also likes tennis, that one’s just based on vibes, because I decided so

Jason doesn’t watch sports, he watches cooking shows, at least one guy has been brutally tortured while Gordon Ramsay plays in the background

Tim likes basketball, again, he supports Gotham’s team, they’re much better that their football team though

Steph adores both watching and doing boxing and wrestling and nobody can take that from me, but also ice skating, she can’t do it for shit and she loves watching it

Duke feels like a f1 guy, I feel like he watched on his phone during patrol while he’s actively ignoring Bruce, he also likes the Gotham football team, in all their dogshit glory

Damian has fencing to watch, yknow the obvious, but I also think he likes rugby, and horse riding (give that child a horse)

Maps likes watching more show-off adjacent sports, but she’ll watch anything that’s one even if she has absolutely no idea what’s going on, she supports whatever team has the nicest uniform
