Officially, they do not make Beauregard Lionnett a god.Â
In the textbooks, she is as she always was: an Expositor dedicated not to her country, not to her organization, but to her family and to herself, first and foremost. She was human, yes, but unparalleled, and the books that is how she is preserved. Human. Fallible. All that an Expositor could be.Â
But in whispers –Â
They have a god, the Cobalt Soul. The Knowing Mistress, Ioun. They have her iconography and her symbols stamped into their clothing (and they say, now, that she wields a staff, where she did not before; they say her staff looks like the one Beauregard carried, and after Beauregard died they make it – not an artifact, they call it a symbol, because officially they do not call her a god, but it is precious all the same). But prayers spread, in those whispers. For strength. For courage. For loyalty.Â
Most of who call upon her aid are the curious. The students, the researchers, the Expositors of this newest age of peace that Beauregard helped bring about. They ask for her help, in finding what they would like to know. And none of them will swear upon the divine, not quite, but sometimes the discoveries they make are not possible. Not by themselves. Not on their own.
So officially, Beauregard Lionnett is not a god. But there are those that send her prayers, all the same.
(There is a firbolg, at peace within the Blooming Grove. The last of the Clay. When asked about his old friend, he will only smile, and say that deities are what is made of them. He never knew her to be divine – in fact she was one of the few of their group who was not – but that she had a habit of surprising even him.)
But it is not only researchers that call for her aid. Sometimes it is children.
Children, searching for connection. Whose parents do not love as they should. Who are isolated, alone, whose drive to help sours into a cycle that ruins their own lives. Sometimes those children will reach out, up, above –Â
And sometimes, someone reaches back.

Officially, Beauregard Lionnett is not a god.Â
But somehow, even after death, she helps them, all the same.Â
