This is a repost from my old account which is now solely my art account, so if you've seen this before, it's not stolen, I just don't post fanfic on there anymore so I moved it lol. This is pretty much the same as on there, but with a few extra details sprinkled in

I personally headcannon him as aroace, but I don't think he'd care about if someone judged him for dating a man, (as long as it didn't makw them think he was Kira of course), so your gender would not matter to him
He isn't a particuarly attentive boyfriend, as he's obviously more obssesed with L and being the hand of justice for the whole world, which could cause some jealousy problems in your relationship
He likes you the same way he likes Misa, the only reason you guys are 'dating' is so no one suspects him of being Kira
That doesn't mean he won't spend time with you though, he will take you out on dates, if only to keep up his pretense of being a normal boyfriend
About where he met you, I don't think he'd be bothered enough to meet new people, even if it helped him, so you're probably a friend from high school or just pre-notebook in general
He will spend money on you, his father is the chief of police and Light himself worked on the Kira case, so he would have money to waste on silly things like shopping sprees and dates to lavish resturant
He would love the diners because he gets to talk about his plans and you have to stay and listen
If you own a notebook you will be forced into planning how to kill L and Near during your outings unfortunatly, but it's still fun to go out!
He loves the shopping trips as much as the dinners, and he'll always end up staring at you while you try on clothes, distracted from his thoughts of the world at his feet (for once)
He will use your dates as a cover for writing names, so expect to be sat around waiting for him to finish work to give you any semblance of affection
Most date nights will probably end up with you watching a movie by yourself at your apartment while hes scribbling in his notebook
