Funny thing: this is my art from 2024! I drew it in Ibis Paint.

I thought It'd be funny if Maps was at her school uniform and a raincoat while being excited to be in the Batcave... Meanwhile, Colton is not having a good time in the background with Dami.

Looking back, my artstyle was a bit different. I tweak it all the time as I keep improving. Honestly, even in my very first post here, I can already spot so many mistakes – but it’s way too soon for a redraw, so…

✮ Mia 'Maps' Mizoguchi Headcannons ✮

First fic im so scared. Maps is way too niche for how cool of a character she is, she deserves so much more content. I'm not from America, so plesse ignore if there's anything wrong with the stuff about her school

She loves making bracelets, she has so many kits for them, she's made at least one for everyone she knows, including Damian

Damian scoffed when he got the bracelet, but he still wears it

She'd absolutly be an architect when she's older, if shes not too busy being Robbin

Loves technology class and took design because she got to draw buildings and make things

This actually makes her fit in more with the batfam (despite Bruce not wanting her to be Robin) as she definatly learnt how to read blue prints well enough to figure out how to make a batarang for herself and also how to make other useful tools from those classes

She definitely had better grades in Technology before she figured out how to design her own tools (like a grappling hook) amd she started spending her time on that instead of the projects

Honestly anything with art / designing something is her thing

By the time she graduates she probably has at least two abandoned web comics

Probably plays the cello or violin, she definatly likes clubs, and she really looks like the type of person to carry a massive instrument around

She cannonically has terrible grades, but all the teachers still love her

Has adhd and possibly autism

Pizza day hates to see her coming, she absolutly runs down the corridoor to be first in the queue for lunch

She 100% has a journal, and she was definitely a big Diary of a Wimpy Kid fan when she was younger

She has a ds she uses to play pokemon on, her favourite is Sun and Moon

Her fav pokemon is probably Dedenne or from gen 1 pikachu or maybe even machop. Machop is the pokemon version of her and her massive instrument so it definatly fits her.

Machop could also carry people to safety on missions, and help lift her places she can't reach easily and move things out of the way. It woukd also be helpful to defend her, which she definitely needs as she wasn't trained as ruthlessly as the other Robins

Dedenne / Pikachu could also be useful, as theyre electric types, so they could help her short circuit lights to give herself a tactical advantage, help her turn off the power on computer systems, etc.

She really relates to Ash from the anime, they have the same kind of energy

When Bruce actually takes her in as Robin, he upgrades her goggles to have nightvision and all that cool stuff (think Peter's mask in Spider-Man: Homecoming when he gets that upgraded)

Puts milk in before her cereal

Speaking of cereal, she's a big lcuky charms fan

If she was in our universe she'd be a massive x-men fan, probably with Cyclops or Magneto, due to her strong sense of justice

She and the detective club have movie nights she and Olive organise

Refused to watch stranger things, (said she was "too busy with detective club") but as soon as Olive forced her to, she was immeadiatly in love with Byler.

Her fav characters were Will and Eddie, and she cried when Eddie died

Does the least work in PE every for someone who does parkour nightly and gets into fights, but as soon as its orienteering or tennis she's a professional all if a sudden

She gets yelled at to run faster by her teachers, she's always lagging behind to talk to Colton about their lock picking practice

Took classed for tennis with Kyle as a kid, but prefers badminton, and is somehow better at it than she is in tennis

The gym teacher always points out how much like her brother she is during tennis lessons and she hates it.

DC Pride Highlights 2026, Colton Rivera, Day 3 of 30

Gay, debuted on October 1st, 2014, in Gotham Academy #1, confirmed queer Gotham Academy: Second Semester #3

Colton Rivera is from the Gotham Academy series, as part of Maps Mizoguchi’s Detective Club. He’s known for having absurd amounts of firework, a lot of random skills, like picking locks, and his sunglasses, regardless of how dark it is or if they’re indoors.

It is implied and later confirmed that Colton has a crush on Kyle Mizoguchi (who is straight and has a situationship with Olive Silverlock, the protagonist), but it is not explicitly confirmed until the Second Semester series. The only person who knows about Colton’s crush is Pommeline Fritch, another member of the Detective Club. Colton eventually confesses to Kyle, mostly to get it off his chest than with hope to actually start a relationship. In this scene, he also removes his sunglasses, saying that his dad “isn’t the nicest guy” and revealing a black eye.
