I'm sure that people who only watched Station 19 just don't know this, but Amelia Shepherd does. not. drink. She doesn't go to the bar with friends after work for cocktails. She doesn't get drunk at ladies' night. She doesn't drink alcohol at all, full stop. Because in her words, "when a junkie smokes weed or drinks, we sometimes forget to not do heroin." So if you're writing Amelia in as one of Carina's friends, I beg you to remember this.
