My final project from my women in classical myth class was to design a dress based on a myth. Of course being the Ariadne fanatic I am, I chose her. Sometimes I wonder how my archeology major has put me in the situations of doing creative projects. (I also decorated my crutch to present my project)

After fighting for my life I won the class enrollment hunger games. I thought I lost when I was wait-listed for history of fashion but I got accepted 30 minutes later.

These were all presented in class where I had to explain and analyze my choices on each of these. If anyone is interested the book we're using in this class is Pandora Jar.

I've been really debating posting these pictures for a while. I'm posting them here to get them out there but still in a small circle so I can decide if I want to put them on Instagram. For those who don't know I'm autistic and really struggle sensory wise. I spent most of this con overstimulated by everything going on around me. That mixed school stress and a pretty negative judging experience by the time I was getting ready for the main part of the competition I was pretty overwhelmed. I genuinely spent most of my time back stage trying not to cry while my lovely friends helped me study for an exam I had the following Monday. And I feel like my emotions can really show in the photos. Because of this negative mixed with the bad judging experience I ended up burning out of cosplay really bad while also questioning who I am. I'm really only now starting to make any progress getting out of my own head. This is mostly stuff I just want to put out there and finally decompress some.

You can truly do anything in college. I just talked my woman in classical myth professor into letting me do my midterm that's analyzing a modern retelling on Ariadne from Ulysses Dies At Dawn.
