First Hoid, to try to get a good sweep of investiture. Human, not Yolish, otherwise red. Narrows it down to having a decently good chance to be uninvested, so my traditional guessing path, as there are also a lot of scadrians and rosharans, has been Hoid->Allik Neverfar, which confirmed Scadrian. Checking Breeze to get Final Empire, Noble, Misting checks out of the way gave me non-noble, not uninvested, not a misting, confirmed Final Empire, not a Mistborn cause Hoid, leaving ... Feurochemy? The only one: I could think of from final empire were Sazed, or maybe Kwaan? Any more? So then I chose Sazed. Because why not? Had to choose one of the two. And so it was!

Hoid->Dalinar as established before on usual searches. The grab bag of yellow on Dalinar+Hoid investiture and ... is that yellow on book? The other site does only red and green on books. That's... going to alter my strategy. So, Stormlight Archive, likely shardbearer or something, so, Herald, not from Roshar, not from Way of Kings. Which ones weren't introduced until later? Chan?

Started with Hoid, unusually for me. (I switch it up just because pretty regularly.) That ruled out a lot. Spren are the most common nonhumans, so Syl was next. Then Rlain and Venli. Okay it's probably one of the Fused. First one I guessed was El and I was RIGHT! 💪🎉

I got a bit lucky there at the end! But

Hoid->Allik->Adolin is an established line. That eliminated most investitures, the most common planets, and the book Elantris, and unspecified humans. Altogether that leaves only a handful.

Most of that handful are from Komashi or Nalthis, but a lot of the Nalthian ones are cognitive shadows, and few of the Komashi ones are, so I check Nikaro to cross check cognitive shadows, painters, and Komashi. In retrospect I should have gone with Yumi to more independently check Cognitive Shadows and Painters.

But with that eliminating almost everyone else, there was now only one person per investiture/book/planet, which would have to be checked independently, and two exceptions with 2 similar groups: Cinder King and Elegy, and then Dusk and Vathi.

Since I like Elegy most of those characters, I tried her next, and since I got all green almost I then tried the next one, cinder king.

That confirmed a bunch of things, then tried Tojin, confirming nightmares painter, and iterated through Izzy before finally reaching Akane.
