harry giving draco a massage? or vise versa?
โRough day?โ Draco asks quietly.
Harry grunts in response, dropping himself on their sofa and beginning to unlace his muddy boots, cursing under his breath the entire time.ย
Normally, Draco would complain about him bringing mud into the house, or his work home, but he knows the look on Harryโs face; someoneโs died, and his husband has got it in that stupidly thick head of his that itโs somehow his fault.
Draco wouldnโt dream of making him feel worse at times like this.
Harry manages to get one boot off, but the other one gets stuck. He struggles wildly, frustrated, and Draco takes a step back for what he knows is coming.
โFuck!โ Harry yells, kicking the table and finally sinking his face into his hands, elbows on his knees. His shoulders begin shaking; a kid then, probably.
Draco takes a step forward cautiously, and then another, and then rests his hands on Harryโs shoulders, pressing a kiss to his hair.ย
โItโll be alright, mon amour,โ he whispers, pressing another kiss to his head and then massaging his shoulders; heโs still shaking, and Dracoโs almost sure heโs crying, but he wonโt comment.ย โItโll be alright.โ
โI couldโve saved him,โ Harry says helplessly, voice thick.ย โDraco, I couldโve-โ
โLet me take care of you,โ Draco interrupts, because thereโs nothing that will get Harry out of the vicious cycle he throws himself into until heโs rested, fed, and watered.ย โJust relax.โ
Harry, predictably, doesnโt; Draco refuses to give up. He massages his husbandโs neck, his shoulders, his arms, his back, his ribs, anywhere he can reach, and, before long, Harryโs muscles give in under the pleasure, going lax. Harry drops his head back, exhausted and frustrated, and Draco kisses his forehead.
โYouโll save more people tomorrow,โ he swears, pressing kisses anywhere he can reach.ย โI know you will.โ
Harry shudders and nods, before grabbing the back of Dracoโs neck and pulling him in for a kiss.ย
โLet me hold you,โ he begs.ย โTell me youโre alright. Tell me you love me.โ
Draco presses another kiss to his lips, and then circles the couch, curling himself into Harryโs side. He says, calmly.ย โI love you, and I will for the rest of my life. Iโm alright.โ
Harry sighs and buries his face in his husbandโs shoulder, and Draco doesnโt mention the tears he feels hitting his shirt.
