Almost forgot, here's a more experimental Art Fight attack on @cosmomatic and their awesome awesome characters — I call it "Blue" (insert walter white dot gif)
The color blue's really significant to this character (the little arrow named Rayelle), being both tied to her negative self-image and her Spaceland ""friend"" (pictured here as Large Ominous Eyeâ„¢). I wanted to invoke the vibe of this awesome piece by Gerard Dubois where for a moment the massive presence reads as the sky itself; I thought that fit Flatland's cosmic horror themes really well (and also Blue)

I have to say tho one message the show to me that stood out is

Finally got all the way through the Sphereland movie, didn't find it as bad this time around probably because Minty was keeping me company and she makes everything better
That being said I really think it would have benefited from more characterization! It sounded like Hex was dealing with a LOT of feelings but it wasn't really unpacked; I think she could use a pep talk from an oldie to soothe some of that classic young adult neuroticism (but perhaps I'm projecting just a little)

I was complaining to @mintytrashcannot about running out of ways to draw limbless orbs and she just busted out these absolutely wonderful "anthro" designs out of nowhere cause she's the best. I was up super late that night doodling them and haven't stopped thinking abt them
