Note for anyone curious- this could actually be viable armor. Sure, china is fragile and gold is soft, but you could gilt-leaf steel plate and use enamel to create a china pattern.

Sure, the enamel and gold would get thrashed in combat, and would like need a lot of maintenance, possibly magical, but it could be done.

My favourite idea in modern fantasy is potion candy.

For example in Bayonetta, alchemical recipes are turned into lollipops. They’re tastier, easier to carry around than bottles, and modern crafting techniques means they’re more potent than traditional potions.

I'm going to say I should never be allowed to write/direct a season of Power Rangers

For Kyuranger I just made a newer version of In Space, even with Dark Spector, with a treasure hunt instead of a man hunt. And more references and lessons about not judging a book by its cover since I would have multiple ranger be monsters or related to legacy villains. Also trying to explain the plot holes.

ToQgers was essentially a story about RPM Rangers being stuck in the canon universe after Venjix took full control of the biometric field. Now I can think of a steam powered monsters being revived in full force with modern day rangers ready to stop them, but that's just Lightspeed Rescue.

Zyuohger would just be a generic "silicon-based aliens abducting every carbon-based life-form for study" and park rangers turned into Power Rangers through malfunctioning alien devices.

Lupinranger vs Patranger would be the proper Hexagon idea. Ninja Storm would not have made sense but these are 2 different versions of super heroes, the public defenders and the vigilantes.

My point is there isn't really an original idea in any of this. Even though it's very fun to write these ideas up they would not be accepted by most people and it would just be seen as a rehash.

The only original idea is for Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger, but that's because it's like nothing that has been done in America yet. Also it would purposely make fun of the times that Saban Brands tried to do original ideas and it was just dumb and have a third season pointing out how dangerous extreme fans can be.
