She was perched atop the Eiffel Tower; back straight and standing perfectly still.

It was the late hours of the night, and the sky was pitch black in contrast with the city lights and the glow of the Eiffel.

But she didn't feel the heavy weight of her chest; or the aching loneliness - no, not even the burden of the lives of the Parisians she often felt of her shoulders.

Because tonight, she was free.

And she leapt.

She the highest beam she was previously perched on grew further and further away; as she relaxed and let herself fall.
