My mom never really noticed. She noticed when she was breast feeding my little brother and blood started coming out instead of milk.
My mom said she felt and saw a little lump in the shower. She was lucky enough she found it at stage 2
My mom had a mammogram. The radiologist thought the spots were just regular calcium deposits.
Turns out it was triple negative breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nods. Mastectomy, radiation and chemo saved her life.
This could SAVE a life.

As a cancer patient myself, who found my own cancer through a supposed LARPing injury last year, i know how scary it is and how important it is to catch it early. Please spread this around!

I’ve gone on and on about how much I adore and admire Rafa a billion times, but it’s never enough.
Rafa is the only person in sports I am this obsessed with. I cry and get upset (probably more than he does) when he loses a match, and again, cheers and celebrates more than he does when he wins.
He is an embodiment of hard work and dedication and I wish I had his work ethic. I love how passionate he is and hate how stubborn he is (game wise). He seems so delicate and gentle but at the same time he’s so cheeky and so masculine.
I still need to see him play live in person before he retires. Otherwise, I’ll forever hate myself for not watching him at the Aus Open sooner.
I absolutely despise the fact he has to verse Djokovic today instead of celebrating. I somehow blame Gasquet for this for not putting up a better fight (kidding about the first part!).
Anyway, it’s going to be a super long time until we Rafans find someone like him, so we better make the most of it while he’s still around.
To the King of Clay, may today be filled with lots of love and joy. No matter what happens with your match, you have nothing left to prove, and I for one will always cheer for you from my couch as long as you’re still playing tennis.

I have to say it...
It seems everyone has improved on their clay court game EXCEPT for Rafa. He is playing like he always has and it's just not working anymore. In a best of 5 match I'd say he's got a chance of pulling through but if he keeps playing like this, he won't win in a best of 3. I hate seeing him so defeated 😔 I just wish he'd change just a little to help him out in the long run. Anyway, I wish him all the best for Rolland Garros. I am fucking praying.

2015 for Rafa
As a Rafan, I was disappointed with his loss to Murray in Madrid. 2015 seems like such a struggle for Rafa so far and to be honest, I’m slightly concerned.
His clay court season hasn’t really progressed as well as I hoped it would. I briefly saw the aggressive, powerful, dominant Rafa during his semi finals against Berdych, but I don’t know what happened during the final?
As mentally strong of a player Rafa is, that is also his weakness. The moment he starts doubting himself, that’s where it seems to go downhill. For example, I notice that sometimes when he struggles with his backhand, he’ll force himself to use his forehand no matter what. That just takes time away from him and uses more energy than usual. I also remember a commentator saying that when Rafa becomes uncomfortable, he’ll start playing far back from the base line and uses lob balls - a very safe and easy way out for him I feel.
Whatever he was doing during the Berdych match, I need him to do for every match moving forward. The aggressiveness, the risk taking, the fast serves, all of this he needs to be able to bring towards his matches. I feel like he is most effective when these factors are present and he becomes the dangerous player he is known to be - especially on his favourite surface.
I haven’t completely lost faith in Rafa for the remainder of the clay season, but I do hope he gets some of his confidence back. I understand the pressure must be getting to him as he eyes his 10th French Open title and Djokovic hungry to get his first.
My fellow Rafans, let’s continue to rally behind our man and let’s help him get back the confidence he needs to bring home the victory. Vamos!
