I love the mirroring of scenes between Chat Blanc and Heartfixer. In Chat Blanc AU Gabriel tries to akumatize a heartbroken Marinette after he forbade her from seeing his son Adrian further and effectively broke them up. Adrien immediately transforms into Chat Noir in front of Marinette (and everyone else to be fair) just to cataclysm the akuma. In Heartfixer, Crysalis tries to akumatize a heartbroken Marinette after the trio of school bullies managed to break her and Adrian up. Adrian too immediately transforms into Chat Noir in an attempt to cataclysm the akuma upon seeing it. However he does it covertly (the transforming) and fails in preventing the akumatization. When he hears Marinette is willing to get akumatized for him, he doesn't hesitate long to drop the transformation right in front of her (and everyone else that could've been there to be fair) in hopes to break the spell. It's a mirror and it is inverted. Same goes for Adrian himself. His reactions are mirrored and consistent, however the reasons for loving Marinette are different. In the Chat Blanc AU, he loved her originally because he found out about her being Ladybug. But in the canon timeline, he loves her for her. I wonder what this will mean for the future.
