A break from rocking countries to touch on a serious matter

In case you don’t feel like reading it, here’s a quick summation of why you should read it:
I have this friend; let’s call her Awesomeface McGee. Awesomeface is an incredibly great person I met in NC via Twitter, and I wish I’d had more time to hang out with her in real life prior to moving. However, I cherish the time we did spend together, because she is super-rad and would give you the shirt off her back if she could.
Awesomeface is a single mother of four, and a damn fine one at that. But, like unfortunately many people today, Awesomeface is facing some tough times. She works hard at her job and at life in general, and deserves a break.
My friend Jessica (who has a fantastic name, don’t you think?), has set up a ChipIn fund on the above page I linked to, which I’m going to link to again:

Odds are you may have met her, especially if you were at my going-away party, which she helped execute. BECAUSE SHE IS AWESOME. Hence the name, Awesomeface.
Anyhow…thanks for reading. And, thanks for donating, if you can. Obviously we all have gifts to buy and things to do with our moneys…or lack thereof. But every little bit helps.
NOTE: YOU HAVE UNTIL THE NIGHT OF DECEMBER 17TH! I wish I were in the position to be like “if you donate (x), I’ll match whatever” but I’m just going to make the best donation I can and hope that you might be able to as well. Think of it as a Kickstarter for someone who deserves only the best but has sifted through tons of crap. And remember that you’re awesome too, and that there are people who would help you if you reached out to them as well.
