What is the Difference Between Lined & Unlined Marquees?
Lined marquees are more luxurious and are an essential element of a traditional wedding style marquee. With unlined marquees, the PVC walls and marquee structure are fully visible, ideally suited for a fuctional or informal events.

1. For a buffet event: a minimum of 8 square feet per person
2. For a seated event: a minimum of 15 square feet per person.
Then add space for other requirements such as dance floors, catering tables, music centres etc. This will give you a general idea of your size requirement.

Marquees
Our clear span marquees combine elegance and sophiscation with modern day technology to create the ideal ambience for romantic traditional weddings, formal garden parties or any event which is required.
We supply 30' width and lengths ranging from 10' up to 100'. These marquees have hard doors and windows and can be fully lined.
Our Chinese top marquees have an oriental-style high roof. They can be used for a small to medium party, or can serve as a separate area away from the main marquee, say as a rest area with sofas and comfy chairs. Chinese tops cannot be lined but can be decorated in an effective way with lighting and decorations.
We also supply various sizes of catering marquees which can be set up beside the main marquee. Since walkways need no pegs or guide ropes, framed structures can easily serve as a porch or walkway adjoining to marquees or house and marquee.
In the summer months walls can be removed for an open walkway if required.
Other equipment
It is best to think of marquee decoration as an overall look for your event. Marquees are so flexible in look that they can carry off any style of your choice; from the classic to the romantic, functional to the modern and lavish to the funky.
Items covered in this section, together with lighting and furniture, can create a truly magnificent appearance.
Linings:
Our standard linings are pleated and ivory in colour, thus creating an ideal backdrop for any occasion. These can be set off with swags and roof swags, as well as special lighting.
Swags:
Swags are available in a wide range of colours to compliment your occasion. Pink for a pretty wedding, red to warm a Christmas party and so on.
Roof swags:
Another option is to drape overlays across the marquee roof, or drops 'down' the side walls to create another effect.
Black-out linings:
Marquees can also be completely "blacked out" and combined with a starlight ceiling creating a dramatic and fun effect.
Furniture planning:
We are very happy to assist with the panning of an event or assisting with the layout of furniture. For many events our standard furniture is sufficient to create the right atmosphere but we are very happy to source other furniture where necessary.
