An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
“Where were you?” Mike asks, impatient. He feels emotions boiling inside him, festering and transforming into something foreign to him. “Uh, I was just hanging out.” Will’s eyes turn defiant before adding, “With Robin.” Of course, Mike knew this already. He seems to be incredibly aware of Will’s whereabouts as of lately. It’s been the whole reason for his internal turmoil. Yet, having it confirmed by Will himself somehow makes it so much worse. “Oh,” Mike lets out. “Why?” Will’s eyebrows scrunch up, head tilting. “Because I like her?”
Or:
Will has been hanging out with Robin, non-stop. Mike does not have a problem with it. Really, he doesn't.
