I need an overwatch zombie fic where humanity is almost extinct, and the omnics realize they can either help humans or let nature decide for them. I'm not sure how the apocalypse would start, but no doubt it would be man made knowing the world of OW.

In the original post, I didn't clarify what kind of zombies the Overwatch universe would have, but I think it would obviously be some mutated shit or enhancements?? Like you are NOT getting the Wildfire zombies from TWD. You are getting something like 28 days later or Resident Evil shit unfortunately. They aren't by any means dead, but the mind is so long gone from the host.

And you are even more fucked because the experiment was done by HER. SHE did it to herself and now you have no clue where to even start if you can cure it.

Talon would probably be the first to fall. Vendetta might try to use it to her advantage by attempting to lock up Moira like she did to Sigma? A dangerous person she can weaponize. I think Moira would escape fairly easily thanks to her fade, allowing herself to disappear fully, unlike Reaper.

So maybe the world wouldn't crumble instantly. It starts with Talon. Then Overwatch tries to get involved. What does the world have once Overwatch has fallen? I can't even imagine a big ass infected gorilla. Tracer getting infected is like the Flash getting infected from DCeased. You DONT want that to happen.

Smart infected, maybe? Retains some memories but goes hazy when prey is around? Primal instincts kick into overdrive. That's just for normal people, though. I think anyone who worked in combat of some sort would keep being strategical to a degree even when they are lost to the hunt.

Might need to revist the idea in a separate post. Just ramble about whatever... but thank you. Moira would be a perfect fit for the idea. Really smart idea, feels a little obvious that it would be her now that I thought it over lol.

I'm struggling to design my omnic gal.. any advice?? It's hard coming up with my own omnic design.

Mayella (place holder name atm)

She has modifications for aesthetic and work! The aesthetic ones are simply changing parts to appear more cutesy for comfort. She feels the need to visually change her appearance for the appeal of humans. The modifications are small at the moment due to her focus on work.

Her work related modifications are farm tools that she can attach to her forearms or wrists, that or they are built in! She might have some larger ones that are required to be placed in her shoulder? Her arms are removable due to this? Still figuring out the equipment.

What has Mayella been up to since The Awakening?

Mayella felt the need to work. To distract her mind from what she was forced to do by the God program Anubis. She developed a fear where shs questioned her own feelings and thoughts since she is terrified of losing free will. She was never born with it, she was gifted it. A gift she is so scared of losing. She spends her time traveling to different farms (animals to plants or a mix of the two.) if they ever need the extra help. Her favorite thing to do is plow fields. It allows her to think in peace while being busy.

Mayella size?

I have no clue. She is shorter than B.O.B, but she is built somewhere between like B.O.B and Susannah? They have been my best references as of the moment.

She has zero relations to Overwatch, Talon, Null Sector, and any other groups mentioned in Overwatch. She has heard of some of these groups, but she isn't fond of them. The only one she forced herself to acknowledge was Null Sector since his choices directly affect the opinions of the humans she works with. Not many omnics own farms that she can work on more comfortably.

I think that's all I got to share at the moment? I'm discovering her personality through voicelines I'm experimenting with. Her build is my biggest issues and I'm dreading the fact I have to draw her neck more than anything.. any advice at all on how to make a omnic character or how to draw one will be appreciated!!

General talk about the topic - whatever the default color is for you (is purple for me.)

Shion is so pretty!! She is so unique, and she makes herself very clear on who she is and what she stands for. I absolutely need more interactions between her and the other omnics/robot characters! Her and Ram are my fav to hear.

However, with the release of her, it has made me realize something I don't ever see in certain fics..

Realistically, I don't think Ramattra would ever date a human. I haven't seen a single omnic x Ram fic ever! And with that, why don't we explore more of Ramattra's thoughts if he WERE to get with a human? He genuinely doesn't like humans, and who could blame him? So if he ever felt something towards one? I wonder how disappointed and disgusted he would be.

Or maybe I am wrong. Maybe he would tune his thoughts to let him feel that way. Maybe he'd ignore the massive amount of confusion, guilt(maybe he feels like he is betraying himself?), or even anger of him falling in love.

A finite species. Oppressed by who made them. Some feared, some seen as simple "bots" as Freja would put it. To be reduced to nothing no matter how much they fight to show they are far more than that.

Ramattra would never accept those feelings easily, I think. I think he wouldn't even act upon them. He would have to be in a very different mindset to accept his feelings or his whole view would shift.

Maybe I'm wrong like I mentioned before.

Who knows.

Ramattra can tolerate people from what I understand, even if he doesn't fancy them. Maybe with enough time, he would come to accept those feelings. I still don't think he would act on them - he has a mission, and he needs to fight for his own people.

Shion is devastating 💔 I didn't mind her at first but she is so bad I won't lie 💔 absolutely ZERO chance since I'm human😔. Loved hearing her talk to Genji about how she thought he was handsome until she knew he was human. Someone please spoon feed me a Shion fic sometime, this woman is so BAD. I can't wait to learn more about her as the lore progresses..

It's not a good way to end a post, but it is mostly just ramblings because I have no one to talk to about this stuff!! I love my "little" omnic and robot characters so much from this game!! Sorry about the tags.. first time using em
