find someone with open rqs and ask them to draw your oc!
do a trade, make a photobash or gacha character of someone's oc in exchange for art of yours!
practice drawing them! If you struggle with something, use style to avoid it until you can practice more! (ex: I struggle with arms and shoes/feet, so I might make an oc with floating hands, or make their feet offscreen so I don't have to draw them) Using body bases is okay too ofc!
ship them with a character and find someone on tumblr who's addicted to drawing yumeship art and ask to be mututals and then over time they will get invested in your ocxcanon ship and draw it for you as a gift probably

WRITING ADVICE- making a pathologically narcissistic OC or OC with NPD: how to go about doing so
-Remember narcissists are human beings that cry, hurt, fear, love, and feel too. We have our impairments socially, but we're not robots. Don't write us as such.
-Acknowledge that narcissism is a spectrum and that there are different types of narcissists and ways narcissistic symptoms present. (Check out grandiose vs vulnerable narcissism mainly.)
-Instead of adding another abusive, cold-hearted, and fraudulent narcissist character into an oversaturated market of dehumanizing portrayals, consider making your narcissist OC a hero or flawed but ultimately human protagonist for the reader to empathize with.
-Consider the fact narcissism is a mental illness, and comes with challenges like perfectionism, low self worth, childhood trauma, and even severe repercussions like substance abuse, SH, and suicide.
-Don't go about "humbling" your narcissist OCs for audience schadenfreude or humiliating them for the butt of the joke or for cheap audience satisfaction.
-Generally avoid turning to google, YouTube, quora, and other places that promote misinformation and pop psychology, and instead look towards communities by folks with NPD for folks with NPD to get honest answers like a few of the below tags.

Ik this is not my normal posting content but I want to branch out with my creative endeavors and I would appreciate some help!!
I am an avid fan of horror, thriller, creepypasta, analog horror, and arg media and I have always wanted to start a project along those lines :)
I have some small ideas but I really need help finding resources for making content like this if that makes sense ><
My ideas are heavily inspired by life is strange, bloom and rage, boraska, cryptids, camp here and there(not really a fan but I really like the vibe), and stuff like that :)
So my main question is:
Should I just keep trying to rack my brain for smaller ideas and stuff, or should I look into resources and other people’s work to inspire more ideas in me.
I hope this post makes sense, idk I’m probably reaching with this lol >< if you have any helpful tips, however small or “irrelevant” I would love to hear :3
So for anyone who's not an artistic person, can you please advise on different fan things I can create for my OC?
So far I have a playlist and a general idea of how she looks thanks to a character creator, but what else could I be missing? What sort of mediums can help to better describe her character or give a sense of her personality?
I'm not sure if there's a one size fits all answer to this, but here are some tips from my short time posting about mine.
Your OC should matter to you first. You should make them because you love them, not because you're trying to market them to other people.
It's also important to remember that fandom is a community. If you want people to engage with your OC, you need to engage with other people too. Send asks, leave comments, reblog, or even just leave a like if you don't have the energy to write up a response. Be curious about the things your mutuals are excited about.
You should also want to engage with others in your community. OC spaces are built on mutual enthusiasm. People will care about your character because they care about you, and will be much more willing to invest in your character if you also celebrate theirs.
My best advice is to make the OC for yourself, talk about them and share them because you love them, and be the kind of person that makes other creators excited to share too.
