HMM Dibison
I bought this kit last January during the Tokyo trip, and finally opened and finished it during Golden Week. The LED light I wanna use for the eye canopy just arrived, so I was only able to take the final photos just now.
Anyway, I remember having a bootleg Dibison back at home with a very noisy gearbox, no green parts, and plastic hooves and horns. It's survived all this time kinda like the Geno Breaker, hence the same "faded paint" treatment. This turned out great. As for the build, it's also a very satisfying one to put together - well-placed gates and interlocking parts make the Dibison a really solid kit overall. The joints that connect the legs with the body could use some work, though.
The next two projects I have are special. I'm currently teaching a Gojulas how to swim, and I'm still looking for a secondhand Death Stinger to get scythe-swinging lessons for.

The Ogre's Stand
My most recent attempt at capturing that menacing aura. Better equipment, different angle, new lighting,
I own no Dark Spiners but I have a solitary Death Stinger, and it's not even the right kind. Nevertheless, I really wanna capture that last stand. Everything's jammed, there's an army of enemy Zoids approaching, and suddenly, a demonstration of what Gojulas the Ogre can accomplish just through instinct.
More of the Ultrasaurus, with some closeups of the details I've added.
More of the Geno Breaker.
I also equipped it with blue LEDs alongside the red ones. Looks neat. Now it's Raven's Geno Breaker, just without the black portions on the free shields.
I wanna take a photo of the Geno Breaker during a sunset, but it's soooo cloudy this Golden Week. I tried doing the screen background trick but...
I'm not feeling it. Oh well. Eventually.
More of the base Guardian Force Ultrasaurus. A bit tricky to find building-less angles where I'm from so I can only do so much. Then again, the Ultrasaurus is big, so this angle might be the best one to convey size.
HMM Geno Breaker
I owned a Geno Breaker growing up. It was one of those old motorized kits, it was a birthday gift, and it was my favorite Zoid ever. It was a heavily loved toy - missing parts, a broken leg, replacement caps from other kits, but nevertheless a treasure that survived after more than a decade or so.
I pre-ordered this kit when the re-release got announced, and after I built it has been sitting on my shelf collecting dust until I finally got around to painting it. I've also just acquired a proper compressor with a tank and was itching to give it a go.
I let my cosplayer instincts take over while painting this. A bit of an aged look to honor my original Geno Breaker. Gold vents just like the Raven version just because they look good. Entirely silver feet just like the old ones. Didn't go too overboard with the decals this time. And of course, the glowing eyes. The blue LEDs didn't come in time for this shoot, so I can only make the eyes glow red instead of being able to switch between.
Overall a very satisfying project. I love it so much. It's so pretty. I wanna take more pictures.
