March Spin
This was some left over Bluefaced Lester from my daughters foray into spinning with a drop spindle. Remarkably lovely to spin. I used a short forward draw which is not my standard. I love the result.

Granny Squares
So by this point I was starting to realise that I really didn't want to work on any of my planned projects and I really wanted something simple and relaxing. On the plus side this is using all little bits of hand spun stash, including left overs from other projects etc. Not sure what I'm going to do with them now.
WIP: crochet top
I started this while avoiding other projects and because I wanted something I didn't have to think to hard about. Something relaxing. It was also an opportunity to use some of our hand spun stash. However I ran out of yarn in appropriate colours. So I will try to finish this after spinning some more.
February spinning projects. These were kind of spur of the moment things I picked up while avoiding the projects I had planned to do next. Helpfully spinning through some of our stash. The blue/green/yellow spin was from a hand blended (rolags) mix of fibres I picked up from the Adelaide spinners and weavers guild when I visited during Adelaide Fringe Festival last year. It was lovely yarn to spin. Spun on a wheel and 2 ply. https://spinweavesa.org/
The white is some merino we purchased in a batt some years ago when we started learning. Spun on a wheel and 3 ply.
No plans of yet what to do with either of these.
Crochet Headband Ear Warmer
Made for my daughter to keep her ears warm. She loved it. Made with handspun rainbow yarn (not spun by myself). Simple Crochet single crochet/single crochet in the back loop alternating until right length, then do that folding thing and stich closed.
Completely made in January 2026
Cataloguing my crafts in 2026. This is technically the second jumper I have ever knitted, but its the first I liked so I am going to count it as my first knitted jumper. I started it last year and finished in January 2026.
