If you thought my post about social justice was neat, go to @chronicallycouchbound instead because this account isn’t for all that.
This blog is 18+ and will include adult themes. Unsanitized and unpalatable cripple of your nightmares.
Crippled, trans, queer, mixed race, and otherwise multiply marginalized. Very tired all the time. Been using mobility aids full-time since 2018, have been homeless for over half of my life, and never have had secure housing. Currently precariously housed and mostly bedridden.
i think it's important for most people's mental health to have a space where they can safely and unashamedly express being horny and i don't mean milquetoast tongue-in-cheek "oh step on me mommy" jokes or whatever i mean capital h Horny
this is wholly genuine btw. repressing aspects of your personality 24/7 is actively unhealthy and damaging and you have to accept that sexual desire does not exist separately from your other personality traits.
in the same way as it's good for you to have somewhere where you can express your anger or grief or joy without filtering it through layers of irony to make it palatable to an audience, most people stand to benefit from having room to be openly sexual in ways that the format of socially-acceptable "relatable comedy" doesn't encompass
The idea of listening to no black music is bizarre to me. Even if it's not rap like no earth wind and fire? No reggae? No moonstomp? No ska? No classic jazz? No R and B? No disco??? No skindred? No jungle? No even like metal bands with a few black members? No gospel? Not even stuff like alors en dance? No blues music? No mo town? No jazz of any kind? No big band? No soul music? Not even a little James Brown?
not even yola or tanner adell or brittney spencer or tracy chapman or india.arie or chapel hart or the carolina chocolate drops or rhiannon giddens????
(sees a post about ocd) haha thats relatable im going to reblog it. no wait im not actually diagnosed with ocd so actually if i reblog that im obviously faking to vie sympathy from others and being totally disrespectful to people who have ocd. and everyone knows i dont have ocd and theyre going to see and theyre going to cancel me for claiming to have ocd and theyre gonna find all the other things ive done and yuppp. 10 callout posts by the morning
i'm tired of seeing northerners mocking southerners for being concerned about the coming cold. we are not built for this.
many of our houses are old and drafty and have no central air or heat. just as many were designed with high ceilings and big windows specifically to move heat OUT of our houses because of how hot it gets down here, not keep it inside like homes in colder climates.
this is like if michigan or smth was gonna experience a heatwave of like 100 degrees and we were down here like WHAT'S THE MATTER IT'S JUST A LITTLE HEATSTROKE LMAO STOP BEING DRAMATIC JUST TURN ON A CEILING FAN
there are people with foot fetishes and there are people who cannot see any depiction of bare feet without assuming it's a foot fetish thing, and the second category is the one that feels more perverse
it's such a bizarre form of conservative sexuality that it makes me realize how Victorian ankle enticement became a thing. people are so staunchly against sexualization that something being sexualized is a negative fact of its own
The southern states in the US are expecting to get hit with severe winter weather this weekend (temperatures below freezing, ice, and snow). The type that we do not experience on the regular. Speaking as a southerner, many of us are not good at coping with this type of thing. I want to emphasize something: this is not our faults. The infrastructure in southern states were not built to be suitable for this type of weather. The supplies we have available to us to deal with snow and ice aren't nearly as vast as northern states because this type of weather is not normal for us.
That being said, it would be wise to prepare in every way possible while there is still time. Even if it doesn't turn out as bad as predicted, better to be safe than sorry. Here is a checklist of things to consider:
Stock Up On:
• Multiple Gallons of Water (water lines are very likely to freeze, even with faucets dripping)
• First Aid Supplies (You never know when it could be needed.)
• Long-Lasting Candles (in case the power goes out, but flashlights are preferred over candles)
• Matches (lighter fluid freezes in cold temperatures)
• Flashlights
• Batteries
• Paper Products (Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Tissues, Paper Bowls + Plates, etc)
• Hats, Gloves, Socks (Your hands, feet, and ears will thank you later.)
• Blankets
• Battery Banks (for your phone, in case electricity goes out)
• For those who have a vehicle, make sure you fill it up on gas.
• GET ANY NECESSARY MEDICATIONS REFILLED IF POSSIBLE.
DO:
• Wear layers. I know this can be a sensory nightmare for some but if your electricity goes out, you will need to stay warm with what you have. If you have wool-based or waterproof fabrics, use it.
• Take advantage of outdoor fireplaces and grills for heat if needed. Many homes these days do not have wood stoves or fireplaces, so if you absolutely need a heat source take advantage of what is outdoors if necessary.
• Inform yourself of the symptoms of and basic treatments for hypothermia and frostbite.
• Pay attention to your health. Do not overexert yourself. Do not waste your energy on tasks that are not immediately important. Conserve your energy.
DO NOT:
• Do not leave any fires or other sources of heat unattended, and do not allow any flammable objects near sources of heat.
• Do not use a gas-fueled oven or stove for a source of heat. This can lead to carbon monoxide buildup in your space. That shit will kill you.
• Do not use your vehicle for heat when it is inside a garage or other closed-off space. Again, carbon monoxide. That shit will kill you. You will also want to save your gas as much as possible.
• Do not try to travel unless it is absolutely necessary, and if it is necessary to travel in a vehicle be careful. If you are considering staying with a friend or relative, or even seeking shelter at a place like a hotel, get there before the severe weather hits.
If you have livestock of any kind, please give them fresh bedding that insulates well while you still can. Consider what you may need to do to keep them warm, such as bringing them inside.

Fun fact: if you, as an adult, tell miserable children that their youth is the best that life will ever be, and that it's all just downhill from there, there's a percentage of them who will hear this and think "well, I guess I better kill myself before that happens." And a certain percentage of those will proceed to do that and succeed.
Anyway what I'm saying is that any time you feel tempted to say that, you should instead consider shutting the fuck up. Just because you peaked at 16 doesn't mean anyone else did. Most peoples' lives get better than that.
I got lunch with my uncle and my neice, who Fifteen(tm) and i was like How Are You?
And she was just like "school sucks, my mom sucks, being fifteen sucks, i just want to grow up"
and so me, a wise and wisened newly fresh thirty year old just replied "yeah it does fucken suck!"
And when i tell you the air physically lightened up and she laughed so hard! And she told me more about why it all sucks and how she feels like no one listened to her, and they tell her to just do it, just get it done, and this girl is tired! She has so much homework and she feels like shes not smart because shes inundated with homework and school and she feels like the people in her life are not hearing her!
Just agree with people when they say something sucks for them! Offer a little sympathy, have some empathy. It does fucking suck being Fifteen.
Here's a surprise. 5 new Disabled Cutie Coloring Pages which have been posted to my website and are free to download like all the others. I may also have a Cuties themed plan in the works that you'll just have to wait and see about. For now I'm really proud of this bunch of baddies who are out here looking hot and ready to steal hearts
[ID: 5 digital drawings that are just clean black lineart on white paper background featuring a variety of disabled people.
The first is a person with an afro and a beard who is dancing and signing the sign for "Beautiful" in ASL. They are in a top with a heart cut out on their chest and a flared out a-line skirt.
The season is a person standing calm with the aid of their cane which is covered in spikes to decorate it but also ward off unwanted grabbing. They are in their underwear and a small tank top with their large belly out showing stretch marks and have small breasts.
Next is a more masc looking person with hairy arms, legs, chest, and belly and some stubble along with a mullet. They are crouched down on the ground and are dressed in nothing but cut off shorts and combat boots. They have a limb difference on their right hand and only have three fingers.
Then is a more femme looking person in a wheelchair with a flat chest in a party dress in heels with long wavy hair. They look poised and cool.
Last is a person that is visible from behind. They are topless, wearing only low-rise pants and knee high lace-up boots. They have a long scar going from the back of their head all the way down to the base of their low back. There is also a smaller additional scar to the left of that one at the bottom. They have a mop of curly hair on their head. ]
I hope everyone who said transmascs, transneutrals, and trans men are protected from direct legal attacks understand how the FDA warnings aren't surprising. Like at all.
(Here's two of them: TomboyX and Untag)
Binders have been under scrutiny forever. One day they cause breast cancer; the next they collapse both lungs if you wear it for more than three hours. They hide the body gave you even though at the same time, they *should* be hidden. Just not like a boy.
According to TERFSs, binders are part of the tranny agenda to indoctrinate young girls into mutilating themselves. Trying to cement binders as medical devices rather than gender-affirming apparal is literally nothing but ROGD rhetoric treating transmasculinity as a plague ruining future housewives.
By their logic, *all* shapewear, including those made for women, should need FDA approval. TomboyX doesn't even sell binders. They're sold as compression bras and the site mentions trans and gnc ppl. You don't see sports bras marketed towards cis people qualified as medical devices.
The obvious loop holes would be to either go the Underworks direction, which requires time and many FDA approvals, or to wipe any mention of trans ppl from the sites designed to help us. It's just another attempt to make the US forget transmascs exist.
And for anyone who needs a reason to care other than this, many tgirls I know have used high compressions bras, trans tape, and even binders to boymode for their safety. Treating them like medical treatments enforces that transness is a mental illness for the entire community.
Quick addition that I should have included: this also affects a lot of intersex ppl, which is equally important whether trans or cis. Would love people to RB with this!
