So I’ve finally decided to join the Twisted Fiber Art Kniterary Club this year.
Opened the box up at the LYS that I work at so that my coworkers could be jealous.

Silk Scarves
So as of last year I believe, I started dyeing yarn. This year during the beginning of Fall I started dyeing silk scarves.
I don’t yet have a picture of my dry ones yet, but so far everyone likes them at the shop I work at and I have even been asked to sell them at an art center.
Equinox Sale~

Just Added~
They’re finally here! Project and Notion bags are now available in my Etsy shop SoulCraftsEmporium. They’re pretty neat if I do say so myself.
The Daffodil notion triangle bag can hold a large amount of stitch markers. Or If you prefer you can use them as little jewelry and keepsake bags.
The Chrysanthemum project bags can hold a small to medium sized project. Anything from socks and amigurumi to scarves and mid sized shawls can go in this bag. It can also be used as a handbag when going out or if you just want something different that your normal purse. After testing it out, it is advised to only put double pointed, circular, or regular crochet hooks in bags. Putting straight needles or afghan hooks in might cause some unfortunate results...
This is a preview to what will be coming to the shop mid September. These are small notion bags to put stitch markers and jewelry or any small knicknack or supplies in.

I absolutely love this. I wish i had one.
Three steps closer to project domination!!!
as I’ve been knitting things that require blocking I decided to go out and buy materials for said blocking. I’m not much of a fan for the Soak that I brought (got Celebration by Soak; not to fond of smell, however others like it. Should have smelled the sample before I left the store...). The blue piece is the Ginkgo Shawlette done out of Plunge by Madelinetosh, the purple rainbow number is the Dangling Conversation done out of Berroco’s Boboli Lace (this has been an ongoing trend since the beginning of the year at my LYS the Yarn Garden), and the chocolate and strawberry cowl in the corner is the Birthday Cake Cowl made out of Plymouth Yarn’s Encore.
Adding Soon
Hoping to have posted new things in the shop by Monday *said with a lot of confidence and some doubt*. Have a whole slew of earrings as well as stitch markers (some more added since the last post). I wanted to wait ‘til Josephine came back from her trip so that I could take some more pictures of the yarn skein earrings.
Here’s a preview of some of the earrings that I’ll be adding to the shop hopefully by Monday.

Congrazzles Yarn Garden~
July 10th marks the 12th anniversary of the Yarn Garden Knit Shop in Lawrenceville, GA being open. I really love this place. The owner is super adorable and I’ve made a lot of connections with people there. I’m really glad that one of my photography projects brought me into there as it has given me a place to fit in and go to now that I’m not in school and my friends have moved away. Learned awesome new techniques and upped my skills in both knitting and crocheting plus have been able to expand my horizons on things I can make.
Thanks forever to Carol Sigrist for opening this lovely shop and keeping it open for many more years.
Adding Soon
Just wanted to share a preview of some of the stitch markers I’ll be adding to my shop soon.
Bunny in the Moon
Strawberry Fields
Rainbow Turtles
Dark Rainbow Crystals
Onyx Stars
Have a few more sets that I have to finish before I take pictures and post on Etsy. The Bunny in the Moon is kind of limited meaning that a couple of the beads will change as soon as I run out since no one makes said bead in said color (looking at you moon and stars bead). The Bunny in the Moon set comes in a rainbow of colors, though as I have sold a couple to my LYS, I’m out of yellow, orange, and I believe purple.
As you can probably tell, I really like rainbows and colors.
I’ve Opened an Etsy shop~
As the title says, I’ve started up an Etsy shop called SoulCraftsEmporium. Still working on getting some more stuff to put on there along with prettying it up, but it’s there! I’m having fun working on the stitch marker part, which I’ve sold mostly to my local yarn shop Yarn Garden Knit Shop here in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I haven’t had inspiration (or time) to work on scarves as I’ve been on a sweater and blanket kick for the past 2 months (more on that later). I have some pretty cool yarn skein earrings made by my friend the lovely Josephine Ruff-Sloan, owner and creator of Josephine Animates and Kawaii Kritterz; and some bead woven earrings that I have made.
Here’s some pics:

‘ll be making posts about stuff selling or being made in the shop as well as when we have sales probably most Thursdays.
