So, if any in the church be corrupted, you want to count yourself amongst them?

Corruption? *shrugs* I cannot separate the tares from the wheat (Matthew 13:29), but as for me and my house? We shall serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).

I’ve heard this saying time and time again.

I’ve seen the t-shirts, the bumper stickers, the bracelets, etc.

Indoctrination is subtle isn’t it (Matthew 15:9 KJV)? These sayings of man have seemingly good intentions, but these manmade sayings are NOT the words He instructed us tell the world. These words are NOT the gospel of Christ (Mark 16:15 KJV).

We are one in the Body of Christ, and within our body, I perform a specific function (Romans‬ ‭12:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬). I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that I should walk in them. Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What would God have ME to do?

Walk in the good works He ordained that I should walk in. Trust in the Lord with all my heart; and lean not unto my own understanding. In all my ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct my paths (Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

When I require direction, why would I ask myself, “What would Jesus do?” Why would I lean to my own understanding? My thoughts are not His thoughts and my ways are not His ways.

Lord I praise You and thank You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. What would You have me do?
