So we know that Takemichi's body goes into a comaish state when he time leaps and he was holding a falling Mikey's hand before that .. that means the moment he time leaped Mikey's hand must have slipped and he most likely fell to his death .. which means that he probably can't even go back to the future until he saves Mikey, right ?

Istg the only emotion that has be a constant for me while watching/reading Tokyo Revengers was just: "please .. please someone teach this boy how to fight" every time Takemichi was in a fight (every other scene that is ..)

It’s actually so funny that Takemichi seeing Hina in her wedding dress for the first time went down in history as an iconic Maitake moment. Like, how did Takemichi manage to fuck it up that badly?

Mikey’s a fun character because he feels like the main love interest and the main antagonist at the same time, but he’s technically neither of those things. Yet.

Mikey and Takemichi’s relationship is so interesting, because I absolutely cannot fathom what they see in each other, but by god are they unhealthily attached to one another. Like they could both simultaneously do better than each other but they’re just like “no, this is the person I’m going to obsess over forever despite my better judgment❤️”. Good for them I guess???? (Not good for anyone else though)

The final arc is literally only happening because Mikey’s mentally ill and Takemichi’s gay, and I think that was a very bold creative decision on Wakui’s part.
