Hey Mouse! I noticed you're in college, and I was wondering what tips you have for being a witch on a Budget. Are there any places you've found great deals for things?
Boy do I! I rarely spend much money on witchcraft (with the exception of a birthday trip to metaphysical shops and treating myself to harder-to-find crystals).
Never underestimate thrift shops for witchy finds. And witchy aesthetic outfits cause that’s also important ;)
Dollar stores are great.
You can find most of what you need from nature/around.
Metaphysical shops are only necessary for certain items.
You can use more from your home than you think, look around in a different viewpoint.
SIGILS.
Gift shops (in America at least) have those boxes of tumbled rocks and you can find real rose quartz and tigers eye in there.
Dirt, rocks, shells, sand, water all have easy to find correspondences, or you can make your own!
Pay attention to the wild plants in your area! They have things to teach you.
Take some packets of salt, sugar, honey, etc. from restaurants.
You already have so many great herbs in your kitchen (hopefully!). Also herbal tea mixes are practically already mixed per intent (bedtime tea = relaxing).
Support witches online, most are reasonably priced AND have holiday deals and other specials which is too pure for this world.
*A note on thrift stores: Sometimes you can find dirty plastic bags of crystals in random sections, like the decor section or by the fake plants or garden section. I’ve found this multiple times, because I always look!*

Personal Number & Dice Correspondences
These personal correspondences are taken from my own grimoire. I encourage anyone to make their own correspondences for anything, but I hope this provides at least some kind of insight or ideas.
Numeral Major
The base numbers are 0-9, thus after 10 numbers will take on the properties of all of these numbers at the same time. The first number is like a leader, the main component of the meaning. The second number is a secondary trait in addition to or in compliment of the first. So on and so forth.

0. Eternity, extremity, liminality, beyond, excessive, nothingness, less, death, as is, simplicity
A number in a secondary position gives the first number purpose. A third number gives it reasoning. A fourth gives it expression, and so on, a fifth gives it practical use, and so on. These meanings are the above expressions, minus one - where a second number in an expression give the first number purpose, as the number 1 expresses purpose.
A number on it’s own simply is. _ is a single digit number that is (0). _ _ is a two digit number that gives more center and purpose (1). _ _ _ is a three digit number that gives reason and intuition (2), and so on. The number 64, for example, begins with (6) and is given orderly and managed purpose (4).

grimoire tip 🌱
long, encyclopedic lists of herbal correspondences are nice to have, but not really helpful for your personal practice if you don’t have access to all of them.
make a list of the herbs/spice/plants readily available to you from your garden, your kitchen, whatever you have, and spend some time writing out their correspondences. whenever you want to whip up a spell you have all the things you know you can use right there for you, a list of ingredients/substitutions ready based on your own accessibility.

ART WITCHES:
I cannot even begin to describe the love i have for watercolors as a tool in the craft.
Firstly, water is easily charged with energy. Moon water=calm, intuitive, nurturing feels to paintings. Sun water=bright, happy, confident, showy feels to paintings. Not to mention you can charge it with ANY SINGLE CRYSTAL, FLOWER, HERB, OR ESSENTIAL OIL YOU WANT. Thats so, so many correspondences that you can use to give an extra feel to your art.
Second, with painting, you immediately set your intention. What are you painting about? There’s your intention. Paint roses to attract love, the ocean to represent emotions, an owl to represent wisdom. Symbolic meanings make holding intention so!! easy!!
And then we have every color correspondance available to add to your work! Yellow for happiness or friendship! Blue for calm! Green for growth of healing!
It’s so super packed with energy, and it can be used for an array of witchy things. Paint an offering for your deity, paint a symbol to add power to your spell, paint to manifest what you want, paint sigils with all your colors and put them everywhere, paint a picture to hang in your room and give off good vibes all the time just! So many things!
This post is vague and unorganized but i just had to get it out there. Maybe i’ll post something more specific and cohesive later if you’re interested. Watercolors, my friends.
Also, my wand! Just the tip atm 🤐
Twine adorned with pieces of garnet and tiger's eye, with a shell for the tip. I want to add ribbon or silk to the handle-esque part of it, but I fear that might take too much of the wood's space! I want to carve and paint some sigils into it as well. Also i ran out of hot glue... R.I.P.
I've finally started my (bos? Grimoire? Its more of a reference book~ i keep my tarot readings and experiences in a binder) !!!
I just did some random collages in the first pages and started with the elements~
I still need to color it. I wish I could use watercolor but the paper is super thin 😭
