I just want it to be real. I seek the real thing, not an idea or a facade, but the thing that drive us crazy while keeping us sane. I'm flawed in many ways, more than I'd care to name. Damaged, insensitive, stubborn, prideful are all words that make up me. I'm not perfect, nowhere near in fact, but I strive to be the best I can and live by a set of beliefs thats resonate within me. I make mistakes, and I own them for without them there would be no me. I seek the real thing, not a dream or a phrase, the thing that keeps us going when all seems lost, that makes us long for it on the worst of days, and feel like royalty on the best. I know its out there, I know its waiting, my question is and remains, have I already found it..

A Rich Man

I will be a Rich man. I will be rich in wealth having enough for my family to live comfortably and without stress. I will be rich in Love, I will let it fill all the holes and creaks in my heart and spirit that has been eroded away throughout these long years. I will be Rich in spirit, I will praise my Lord everyday and constantly ask forgiveness from my sins and pray for the privilege to wake up the next day and the strength to bring me through it. I will be Rich in character for I feel that is something we lack in todays time. Good character and common sense can go a long way if people would give them a chance. treat others how you want to be treated and believe in something and stick to it. Your word is your bond, we should stop treating it so carelessly. I will be Rich in knowledge and the never ending pursuit in it. Knowledge is king and he who controls the knowledge controls the world. I will be Rich in laughter, simply because without it the world would be such a dull place. I will be a Rich man..
