Multicolored light. My objective of overlapping a combination of colored lights on a white arrangement of fresh material was accomplished by following Faber Birren’s instructions. Three 150-watt stained-glass (150 PAR 38/SP/6G green, 150 PAR 38/SP/6B blue, 150 PAR 38/SP/6R red) in swivel sockets were spaced 7 to 8 inches apart, center on center. Shining them on the white arrangement against a white background produced brilliant shadows in red, yellow, and turquoise.
