Why did we need a different flag anyways. We are all GAY and that is all inclusive in the Sexual Diverse group as far as I have always known and I am fifty-one and had a Gay brother who was 12 years older than I and that was THE Term, Gay!!!!

To be fair in the survey I did to see what flag to get produced for pride merch: the rainbow flag was still very popular and had the least negative votes compared to other options. It’s a good flag!

I am so tired my dudes. So tired.

Skimped on the prompt a little but flowers are kinda frail, right? Mostly I just wanted to draw a pretty snake. Lesbian flag, for international lesbian day.

Hey - do you know if the terrible creator of the flag is still active online and still saying bad things? Also I saw a post about how hilarious and vindictive it would be if a bi woman reclaimed that flag - would it be okay if I did it as an asian bi woman 🇧🇩 or nah, i just kinda want to piss her off... Keep up with the good work - I’m in love with all the flag designs so far (to those who have made them and to u for promoting them) and I think y’all funky lil lesbians are great! 💗💜💙

I honestly don’t know if she is still active online, If she has an active twitter or any other social media page I haven’t run into it or seen it.

And like I said in that post: I honestly think it’s yours to reclaim if you want! Given the anti-Asian and biphobic stuff she’s said I say go for it!

And all the fellow lesbians out there creating flags are wonderful honestly, far more creative then me that’s for sure!

The Lipstick Lesbian Flag idea was stolen from my design of a Cougar Pride Flag, which was designed to draw attention to the ongoing issue of ageism and sexism in women’s sexuality.

It was also meant to be tounge in cheek when I came up with it in 2008, which was taken wholesale by this blogger in 2010, and never credited it the source.

The lipstick lesbian flag was designed by a drag queen, ME!
