Swifties know Taylor isn’t perfect. But she gets so much unnecessary hate and the majority of the time, it makes absolutely no sense.

Taylor gets backlash for everything she does. She never can win and it’s so frustrating. She is constantly under scrutiny. It’s unfair.

You don’t have to like Taylor or her music. But most of the criticisms that people have toward Taylor are completely sexist.

“She dates too many guys”, “she writes too many love songs”, “she is pett”, “she uses men for fame” all of these things are SO misogynistic.

There are some legitimate things to be critical about. Like, maybe she could be more politically active. But honestly, why would she be?

Taylor gets attacked for everything. If she had spoken out against trump, the media would’ve found a way to slam her, & you know it.

If most people were as bullied as she is, they’d remain silent too. Taylor still tries to make her views known just subtly to avoid backlash.

Everything Taylor does gets twisted and misrepresented by the media to further push the narratives that she’s greedy, rude, problematic, etc

Now the media is trying to make it seem like her fans are mad at her too. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We are happy that she is happy and finally defending herself. We’re tired of the media making an issue out of everything.

The Ticketmaster thing? A lot of us LOVE it Taylor took it upon herself to eliminate some of the bots and help fans get tickets. Yes, buying merch gives you boosts. So do other things Yes, you get a higher boost buying merch than watching a MV. Why is that a bad thing? Watching a MV is much easier than spending money.

My point is, people need to stop with the bullying. People kill themselves over things like that. Imagine having it times a million Taylor may be pretty, thin, rich and white. But she’s still a person. She has feelings. She’s done nothing to deserve 10 years of bullying.

You don’t have to like her but you also really don’t have to tell lies about her or send her hate. Live your life and ignore her WE LOVE YOU TAYLOR

it’s honestly wild that “kanye west commissioned a lifelike nude wax figure of taylor swift and filmed himself sleeping next to it” hasn’t been a more major factor in the discussion of the ethics of this whole feud. like all celebrity theatrics aside if i ever found out that a man had paid thousands and thousands of dollars to create a malleable nude figure of me with lifelike handpainted nipples and then he filmed himself lying in bed next to it and put it on the internet for millions of people to look at i would press charges.

This is so incredibly random, and I’ve never had this happen before, but it weirded me tf out enough to make a post about it.

please remember that in a healthy, adult relationship (romantic or not), you should be able to talk about things that are bothering you. if you are bottling up your emotions and holding it against someone when you haven’t told them what is wrong, you’re not engaging in healthy behaviour. but also, if your friend/significant other makes you feel as though you can’t talk about what bothers you- i.e. has made you feel guilty/gotten extraordinarily angry when things were brought up in the past- they are not engaging in healthy behaviour.
