ep 129 had me in shambles

okay we hate odelath of course but especially post ep 129 i can't help myself from thinking god what an interesting character. to feel so much guilt for what you're doing but let conviction win over emotion so completely that you choose to remove the memories and the feelings rather than reconsider your plan... it's absolutely fascinated me. he removed to many of his own memories that he has no idea why he's doing the things he's doing, he just knows that he must do them. but he also retains knowledge of his ability to remove memories, so he knows what he's doing to himself but has no idea what he's lost or why. he just trusts his past self so implicitly that it doesn't matter. he lost all his humanity and forged himself into a tool to be used by...himself. guys this might be the villain of all time i'm just saying
