How the story began
At the beginning of our mini campaign Nalaw and Loki already knew each other because first my brother and then Ido have DMāed mini storylines before where (mostly) everyone else played the same character. I played my human sorceress Pan who has been looking for someone to teach her more about her sorcery powers and how to handle them. This is what sheās doing currently while her friends explore Crimmor.
Torben experimented with a different character during Idoās one shot but decided to play Elvalor for this campaign which is why we decided together that Elvalor should be living in Crimmor, as a sort of anchor for the group and a reason to stay there and find out more about the people there.
We didnāt have a session for their first meeting, we just came to a consensus that Loki and Nalaw met Elvalor at the village Idoās one shot was set in where he was sent by his teacher Lorsan Norrick to find out whatās going on because rumours of ghosts and a haunted castle ruin had reached as far as their city. Because Pan decided to go off on her own Loki and Nalaw thought accompanying Elvalor back to his city sounded fun and thatās how we started our campaign.
