When you click a text post on a page with small posts, you’ll get a popup “Lightbox-Reader” where the body of the post is displayed. The same functionality is there for all posts that have a caption.

For media posts, you might notice a litte button on the lower left corner when you hoover it. This is the lightbox trigger for captions.

This way, text-captions don’t clutter the index page, but you can still read them without loading a new page.
