"Galatea" - 2023. Photographer/model : Psyché Ophiuchus Body painting Yoann Lossel
"Galatea" is a visual exploration of the symbiosis between nature and art. Inspired by the nymph of Greek mythology, it is a reflection on our relationship with nature. A confrontation between what is ancient and organic, like the oxidised copper statue, and what is vulnerable and fragile, like the human essence and threatened nature.
By juxtaposing the immutable figure of Galatea with the dynamic and changing environment of the forest, we invite the spectator to reflect on the duality between the ephemeral and the permanent, between human creation and the immutable force of nature.
is it true lots of older women in poland dye their hair red? I recently dyed mine dark red and my babcia keeps saying i look like the old women in poland

I love costumes in Dracula (1992), especially Lucy's wedding dress and how she looked after the transformation. In general the visual side of the film was top notch (my boy Keanu looking pretty as always but that acent was not it lol).
However
I cannot take this hairstyle seriously. I know Coppola wanted something different for his Dracula but he looked funny instead of creepy to me. But I got to give it to Gary Oldman, he was acting his heart out in this one (and apparently it made Winona Ryder uncomfortable at the time, how intense he would get while in the character).
Anyway, go watch it, I had fun and was pleasantly surprised to find out most (if not all of them?) special effects were made right in camera not with the use of a computer.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not to sound like a medieval peasant or a catholic but i resent anti-carb propaganda so much like bread will never be evil it is holy it is divine it is one of life’s most simple yet decadent pleasures. love is stored in the bread
fucking hate it when the stuff everybody says "actually works" does actually work.
hate exercising and realizing i've let go of a lot of anxiety and anger because i've overturned my fight-or-flight response.
hate eating right and eating enough and eating 3 times a day and realizing i'm less anxious and i have more energy
hate journaling in my stupid notebook with my stupid bic ballpoint and realizing that i've actually started healing about something once i'm able to externalize it
hate forgiving myself hate complimenting myself more often hate treating myself with kindness hate taking a gratitude inventory hate having patience hate talking to myself gently
hate turning my little face up to the sun and taking deep breaths and looking at nature and grounding myself and realizing that i feel less burdened and more hopeful, more actually-here, that i am able to see the good sides of myself more clearly, that i am able to see not only how far i have to grow - but also how much growth i have already done & how much of my life i truly fill with light and laughter and love
horrible horrible horrible. hate it but i'm gonna do it tho
