a strange knight with no home
Romantic Night Landscape, James Arthur O'Connor (Irish, 1792-1841)
What are mushi? - an interpretation
One might be tempted to say that they are just fantasy creatures of which sole purpose is enriching the world of Mushishi. And that is partially true, because if an artist makes their decisions consciously, everything in their work happens for a reason.
You are a deity newly ascended. Your predecessor has perished, and their domain (now yours) is in shambles. Instead of repairing it first, you went down to the world and did the dirty practical work instead of the grandiose, aloof things other deities do.

Veredicto: Usar hechos históricos cambiándoles el nombre como plot device y hacer fridging para justificar las decisiones genocidas de la protagonista no son cosas que me agraden al leer. Este libro que provoca una rabia incalculable
Opinión:
So I started drawing and painting some months ago and for some reason, whenever I feel sad or I'm stuck, I draw some fishies and I get less depressed.
one of the deans in beijing dance academy rehearses with students
#he's so good damn#obvs he doesn't have the same athleticism as the students#but he's so much more in control of his body#he moves much more self assuredly#and doesn't exaggerate the way the more inexperienced ones do#he knows exactly what to do and how to do it naturally#wow
Oh so that's what books mean when they talk about seeing a swordperson or a martial artist move and immediately knowing you're fucked. If I saw someone handle a weapon or switch martial art stances that smoothly and with that economy of motion, I would immediately know I was going to die.
And in his DRESS SHOES.
One of my favorite things in the whole world will always be watching someone do something they’re an expert in.
I'm practicing a lot of stuff and learning to properly draw, but at the same time i'm following the 50/50 rule and decided to play a little with Adri's inspo for her tower mage story and yeah, although I don't really know anything about her story yet (only minor details), I decided to illustrate something for fun :D

Veredicto: Un buen libro. No volvería a leerlo. Es demasiado crudo y sin duda no fue para mí.
