I just think it’s really interesting that once I became more visibly Jewish- wearing a tichel or kippah on a daily basis, wearing my hamsa, learning Yiddish- I was immediately faced with (misdirected) transmisogyny- being called transmisogynistic specific slurs, being followed and harrassed off buses, being followed and watched in women’s bathrooms, etc.

It goes to show that transmisogynists and terfs base their ideas on what womanhood is on a white, European, racist, antisemetic, patriarchal caricature of womanhood, and not actual womanhood, which is intrisic to each women, normal or cis.

Tumblr, Native Hawaiians need your help!

So the gist of it is the construction of the 30 meter telescope on top of Mauna Kea is starting. Its peak is 4,207.3 m above sea level, making it the highest point in the state of Hawaii. Which is why it is deemed the perfect place for the telescope. The only thing is, Mauna Kea is sacred land, our ancestors never built on top of Mauna Kea and for good reason. Sacred land is to never be messed with. It's a burial ground for native Hawaiians' most revered ancestors, and believed to be a peak created by the gods as a place from which humans can ascend to heaven. A lot has been taken away from native Hawaiians and there is already telescopes built on Mauna Kea we do not need anymore desecration of our land. Uh not sure if you can help but do you know of there's a -ian term for NBLM, NBLNB, NBLW, MLM, MLNB people? If there is, do you know its flag?

There is either Courscatian (NBLM, NBLNB, NBLW, MLW, MLM, MLNB) or Opalian (NBLM, NBLNB, MLM, MLNB), but not NBLM, NBLNB, NBLW, MLM, MLNB as far as I’m aware.

i hope the younger lgbt+ youth (12-16) on here knows that it’s okay to play with identities. it’s okay to try out a label for a month, decided it’s not for you, and then pick up another one. you aren’t “betraying your community”, you’re figuring yourself out at an age that- you know- you figure yourself out in! do what works for you. if you don’t like labels, ditch them! if a label resonates with you deeply, try playing around with it! it’s normal. don’t be afraid.
